Now, having had the former for a long time I would prefer the gulf variant but if that's not available then I would repurchase this. The first sachet seemed to taste different in the sense that it was slightly sweeter. But after a dozen sachets I feel there's not much difference with the gulf variant. At least not enough to bother me.
