Can be purchased for little ones for reading practices , quality of a book is good and colourfull

Book came in good condition on time . Well packaged I bought it for my 4 year old and it is extremely useful . Even though I have been reading various books to the child from the day he was born , he did. Not show interest in reading by himself but with this book he has started identifying words and is able to read with a little help . Go for it . It is easy , the words are repeated so the children will find it easy to memorise the words. Even though they use key words instead of sight words - in the case of this book the often repeated words are sight words . My son has been within a week able to identify - You The A And Thanks to just this one book . Quite a feat ! The letters are big . And there are only one or two sentences per page , the pictures are interesting and beautifully illustrated . There are no mistakes in the book You may find cheaper books to help the child read but I think this is the best since.

I can not recommend these books enough. My 4+ yr kid learned to read with the "Key Words" series of books published by Ladybird. The systematic approach is very good and the pictorial presentation along with the reading really help the kid to learn and understand rather memorize it. I feel so great when my kid read small sentences from the newspaper and major credit goes to "Ladybird" for this GREAT reading material for kids. I am now buying complete set. Hope this review is helpful in your decision making.

good product for very young kids learning to read first words.

Very helpful for a 5 year old to learn reading. There are few words and it keeps repeating throughout the book which helped my daughter to gain confidence. By the end of the week, she was able read the sentence without spelling it.

I had just one of this book, I don't remember from where I had got it as a child. Though I had a desire to get some more of the type I hadn't the means to know from where to purchase them as in our days we had no computers or internet or online purchase. Now with all these facilities I am collecting the same for my grandchildren. I hope they will use my collections and know the value of these books. They are so good to learn the English language, simple and pictorial. Just one theme a book. Though a little costly, they are worth it.

The "Key Words....." series by Ladybird is an awesome collection of books, for your 3+ years kids, this one being the first one of the series. Intriguing characters, nice pictures, and easy to learn words, keep the kids engaged. My son is loving it and have picked up most of the words! Look forward to buy some more books in this series. Fast delivery and nice packaging by Amazon!
