It is incredibly irritating and I cannot sleep with it on.** A: Yes, here tis HOUR CHIME (stop watch beeps once every hour on the hour) To set the Hour Chime ON, press and hold SPLIT/RESET then press MODE (while continuing to hold SPLIT/RESET) until the days of the week appear on the top of the LCD. To turn Hour Chime OFF press MODE (while continuing to hold the SPLIT/RESET button) until the days of the week switch OFF. **Q: Is this waterproof?** A: It is definitely not waterproof as I took it to the shower inside the plastic bag and it still somehow absorbed water and turned off. Luckily, it dried up after I opened screws. **Q: How do you turn off the hourly chime?** A: While on the normal time display, hold the left button to show the alarm display and then press the middle button to toggle it off and on.
