I was very skeptical of the capabilities of this blaster thanks to several neutral to unfavourable reviews on Youtube. I ended up buying this only because its price dropped significantly during the current Great Indian Festival. But after two days with the blaster, I believe it is worth the money - even its MRP. As someone who plinks around, the rate of fire of this blaster is good enough. The breech loading is fun and the short protrusion at each end of the breach door helps prime the blaster effortlessly. Loading the dart is tricky, but one can do it effortlessly with some practice. The handle is comfortable even for my large hands and the funky carry handle helps align and acquire the target. The blaster is surprisingly accurate even with elite darts. The four dart storage that can be fastened on to the upper and lower tactical rails - the lower one being a more practical location. In all the pistol surprised me and I am glad I own one.

Have to give it 5 Stars because its a awesome blaster for its price, for me it's worth what your paying for. Would give it 4 stars but Amazon didn't do anything to deserve that rate, it's more of a Hasbro/Nerf rating so yeah... Goods: Blaster came with everything it said in the description which is really cool. The barrel extension and dart rail attachment (or whatever you want to call it) makes the blaster even more unique. Blaster it self has a really cool look to it and it was a style that I was looking for quite awhile now, in my opinion so good it got me into nerf again. Performance is good in my books. No range claims but mine shot around 25ft., sometimes it will go far or less then that (depending on dart and condition of it) which is good if you play indoors, outdoors will do ok as weather (wind,rain,snow,etc.) can effect your distance of course. Loading the gun can be fun and or difficult, but for me it gives me that sniper/hunter feel as you have to insert the dart into the slot then push back to fire. So overall it just something you should look on youtube at so you will have more confidence buying this item. Took me sometime to make a decision but for 14.99, it is something you can't go wrong with. Tactical Rails on it gives you numerous options to customize your Ion Fire to your liking, which reminds me I have to go to the storage again to get my old n-strike attachments out so I can have some fun with it. What I am going to mainly use this is for my indoor sniper as its smaller then the longshot and long strike and the gigantic centurion so making it perfect. It is small and can be portable so you can fit the blaster and a few attachments in a backpack and store it in a good size case when you are done. Just Love this blaster and not disappointed about my purchase. Bads: There are always downfalls to every blaster just so you know but it all depends on you and what you are looking for and what your needs are when getting a new blaster. Packaging is open faced so you see what you are getting, but also means it is venerable to being damaged more from falling off a shelf in a store or kids playing around with it and the condition of the externals and or internals are exposed to damage but if you are buying it from amazon you should be good. I said the performance is good but depends on you if its a big problem or not, if not then there is nothing to complain about it, BUT there somethings I notice that can effect play and people who use it. This blaster can damage your darts cause the slot to insert it, is not big enough to just drop it in there, you have to bend it a little then push back and fire. If you load it to fast and miss the slot, you can bend your darts and that will effect the performance and distance. when you slide it back the tactical rail on top can get in the way if you have bigger hands, it can get caught and you may hurt yourself, you can also just load it by using your fingers to pull and push back the sides of it, then the other option is to mod a bolt on there which would look cool but yet hard to do if you got no experience in modding. If you want a blaster to shoot darts far, I would say this ain't the right one for you, but what I notice is some darts fly out at such a high speed it wobbles causing it to lose it's range. Also NOT A GREAT GUN TO USE IN A NERF WAR as the loading time is longer then any other nerf blaster I know about, but if you are just having fun I would say it would be good and funny to hit motorized blaster users with a single shot blaster if you can pull it off. To me these cons are not really a big problem for me I just wanted to put it out there so you are prepared for what your about to purchased and you know what to expect. Overall good blaster. Overall: Satisfied and happy with this blaster, my gf's cousins will be wanting to try the Ion Fire when I play with them again next time as we do have little battles here and there. Great gun for the price and suggest this to anyone who wants a fun little blaster to play with in games or customizing the crap out of it ! will be buying the modulus attachments for this so I got more options to play with and making videos with it soon. Hey 14.99 can't go wrong.
