Excellent piece! Good sound quality, built quality and feel. Compact and very handy. Very good value for money for the price that it is offered for. Delivery was timely with good packaging. With Duracell AA batteries, you dont need to change for at least 6 months (2-3 hrs a day).After trying 1, I purchased 2 more pieces to gift to family and friends. Strongly recommend this item.

VERY GOOD PRODUCT

Very bad quality product. Might even be fake.I purchased the product in Oct'18. Within a couple of months, volume control started malfunctioning. As there is no warranty provided, I had no recourse.Then last month, the radio frequency tuning functionality stopped functioning. Now it's a useless junk.I would strongly recommend that you do not buy this. Opt for other options.

I bought this p36 model from Amazon for around Rs.1500 5 years ago for my senior citizen dad. Intial feel was good but sound quality is not as expected from a Sony product. Volume control placement is unusual (which is common in several Sony product. They srat with something different and then comes back to mainstream). Though it was used sparingly, my dad started complaining about on off and band switch malfunction after a year or so. Then volume control started giving problem of sudden change of volume level and unusual cracking sound while volume operation. Still then it is left unused since 3-4years. Though it's external build and plastic quality feels good, internal components are not that much. Probably this is low cost version of product for some countries. Later I bought a Sangean SR-35 which I fell is much better in terms of quality and audio.

I'm from Bangalore, I Loved this piece, Strong, Definitely long lasting, I could catch all the Stations without lifting the Antenna.Only short come is if you put full volume, The sound gets distracted, But Who's gonna listen with this Pocket radio? U want to hear big Buy a Big Hi Fi system.For me to listen to the FM radio during my routine work on my LapTop & at my bed side just before Sleep,,, Just the Right thing.My only worry is the price, MRP sticker says Rs- 1390 & price quoted on Amazon nearly 2,000.

Signal – goodBuilt – very goodUser friendly – very muchAntenna – works perfect in the deepest corner of the house and can be folded and locked when not required.Tuner is the charm – retro manually tuner is the best part, user can fine tune the channel to the fullest and not even a single channel has any kind of disturbance (Bangalore, India).Using it from 2-3 months - all in all very satisfied with the look and feel, battery sustains for 18-20 days with moderate use of 2-3 hours per day (I used Eveready batteries).

The antenna is not as good as expected, but maybe they are great in the price and size range. I dont know hoe good/bad the other options in this range are. Batery life is good, we have been using it for more than a month now, occasional use, haven't had to change batteries yet.
