This is a cute little book, but extremely well produced. The print quality is good and the whole book is presented beautifully. Art through time is presented here sequentially. A small biography of the artist is included along with some important works. An excellent concise reference bookFor people interested in art , this is a handy reference tool.

The book is a beautiful and easy-to-do milestone in the art world. It is a small attempt to know the Aga root of the industry. Very happy and encouraged to get the book. Thank you Amazon.

Myself being an art history student, I find this book quite handy to brush up the memo. Its not meant for serious readers but quite useful who just wanna have a knowledge in glance.

Its an excellent collection for an artist and art lovers. Its worth buying.

Easy to understand,handy to catch and does not bore the reader. Accordingly summarised chapters in easy way to understand.

The book focuses almost exclusively on European art. Calling it World history is big misnomer.I was expecting a much broader research into art, but sadly it came as a disappointment.

A very brief summary of art history, western art history. It does not contain that much information. it is basically a chronological list of famous Western artist.The presentation is good. It is for novices, not experts.

Love this little book perfect size for a night stand to read before bed and view the historic and iconic art. Compact and comprehensive with all the most influential art and artist throughout the ages.

I love this book! It includes just the right amount of information and beautiful pictures to provide a concise overview of art through the ages and is a convenient size that I can carry anywhere easily. It's exactly what I was looking for!

Long and detailed books with lots of text test my patience. So I always look for briefs when it comes to any kind of theory. So I searched and picked up this one when I needed some background on art and I was not disappointed. Nice handy size and very well designed. Highlights all the ages with time lines from Pre-history, Antiquity, Middle Ages, Renaissance, Baroque, 18th Century, 19th Century, 20th Century and Art after 1945. Each age has all the respective artists introduced with dates and images of major artworks. Also great as a coffee table book. Great introduction to aspiring artists who are afraid to pick up huge volumes.
