EXERPEUTICGOLD 500 XLS Foldable Upright Bike, 400 lbs

Had this bike for a little while now and thought it helpful to honestly review it.1Dealing with the seller and shipper - superb and very easy. The seller responded immediately to my request for an invoice. The shipper [a large well known firm] has an online trace facility that updates at each stage of the shipment journey and keeps you very well informed. The bike was extremely well packaged and arrived in pristine condition.2Ease of assembly - quite easy. It took me about an hour and a half working methodically and slowly by myself, step by step. The instruction manual is well written and clear. Others have commented on the fiddly last step re connection the tension cable. It is fiddly but if you google you can find videos online that show how how to do it. Plus other videos on the overall bike build. Recommend watching these a few times first. Also, at the last step prop the bike up so that you have easy access to the tension cable aperture. One last tip - if you have a ratchet socket and driver set, use that to tighten the bolts and screws. That way you can easily get a really good solid build.3Build quality - absolutely superb. As others have said it is built like a tank and rock solid. It is whisper quiet in operation - you really can't hear a thing.4Moving it around - easy. Follow the instructions and it rolls and folds very easily.5Comfort - again, superb. The large oversized seat is very comfortable and the bike feels very stable and secure.6Ease of operation - good. The onboard console is intuitive, easy to use and shows a very clear large display.7Pricey? Yes, a bit. The item ships from Germany. In my case it was shipped to the UK so, as well as the purchase price, there was a hefty shipping fee for the courier. Plus if, like me, you are in the UK then, post Brexit, there is an additional charge from the shipper for VAT on the item leaving the EU plus various additional surcharges for fuel, weight etc. Could come as a bit of a shock if you are not ready for it.8Conclusion. When all's said, it is like everything else in life - you get what you pay for. In this case, you pay a premium price but you get a superbly built machine that I think will give my family years of service.

This really is a special piece of kit. Built like a battleship, yet not as heavy as you think it might be. Easy to fold and move, but solid as a rock when you are using it. I am 17 stone and 6’4” and it is perfect for me. My wife is 5’8” and, although it is fine for her too, I think people less than that height may struggle to reach the pedals comfortably. It really is for big b*ggers like me! As other reviewers have said, the cable is a bit tricky to fit but, as long as you have help for that bit, you’ll get there. A good array of data scrolls through on the display whilst in use and you can choose to freeze on one particular element, such as speed, if you want to. I do three bursts of three miles spread over the day which works well for me - I get bored pedalling away for 20 minutes in one go! Lastly, the saddle is mega wide and comfortable- what a joy rather than the usual road saddle which comes with these machines which hurt your a*se! Highly recommended all round.

The bike is great for beginners. Especially for heavier individuals, who might have the same problem as me, this bike feels very sturdy. NO problem in actually feeling safe and comfortable.The seat however is a little wide (not horrible) and there should be one or two more levels of difficulty as the maximum is not crazy challenging.

Easy to assemble (attaching the resistance cable was fiddly) and comfortable to use. Feels really sturdy and virtually silent running. After adjusting seat height (I'm 5'11" - there is plenty of increasing height options available for taller people) I found using this bike easy. I'm a big person, but there was no rocking when using. Feel safe. Only problem found that the rollers on the front to move it don't actually touch the floor! Not sure why - can't be fit on upside down because there is only one way to fit the front bar so had to 'walk' it across the carpet. Yes, it's expensive, but I'll use this every day and it's worth it to feel secure.

Worried about getting a folding bike considering my family is heavier than the average bear. It was relatively easy to put together and easy to use. Had a small issue with a piece and the company sent it straight away with no fuss and a few bags of Haribo to say sorry. Lovely customer service.

Great piece of equipment especially if you are looking for something to start getting fit.Suits me as I am heavier and has a sturdy frame, also comes with a wider seat for the larger bum!The only downside is that if you are shorter than 5’4” you probably won’t be able to reach the pedals!Overall, I’m really happy with my purchase.

This bike really is sturdy for the heavier person... I was worried it would withstand my weight, but it's great. Nice large seat, could be slightly more padded but all round ok. It wasn't hard to assemble, and I wish I made this purchase years ago!!! It is easy to collapse and unfold, yes it's a bit heavy weeling around, but that's to be expected with frame.

Positives - arrived on time, looks nice, doesn't take too much space, stable and strong, very quiet, some adjustments possible to suit your height. Display - huge so easy to see. Functions basic but sufficient.Negatives - poor description on the site, not as portable as they would like us to believe. It is heavy. Two people needed for assembly. All tools provided and instructions were good but very fiddly to assemble. Wide seat great idea but uncomfortable.

I am a heavy person and this bike is solid and comfortable. I’m 5”7 and I find the shortest setting to be the most comfortable. It’s so easy to mount and dismount. I use it without the foot straps because I do more of a light pedalling. Even at the shortest setting I cannot see this bike being proper height for someone who is 5”1, unless they have abnormally long legs with a shorter torso. I kind of wish it was a different colour, like black or silver as it has a slightly “dated” look to me but that is just my opinion. Def happy with my purchase so far.

Je suis très ravie de cette achat, poids max 181 kg c'est top pour celles et ceux qui sont en obésité voir ++ . (Comme moi) . Solide, résistant ,facile à monter, facile a transporter, facile d'utilisation. Donne le bpm, km, vitesse, assise large donc pas mal au fesses . Je recommande vivement, c'est une petite pépite !!

La bici va genial y es muy resistente. La guía de montaje no está en español y entre el idioma y que no es muy intuitiva la guía se nos hizo complicada
