Good product. Value for money

The packaging was decent with a wrapped up plastic sheet. The chess board is fully made of wood; the colour combination is perfect. The play surface doesn't have any protection coat or lamination. So care must be taken to maintain it. The chess pieces are medium sized. They are made up of good quality plastic and feels good in hand; won't break easily. However, the design finish is not that perfect. First I received a set with a white pawn missing. Replaced it with a new one the very next day. Kudos to Amazon's super fast response and delivery. Finally, for this price it's a good product.

All you need to know- (Honest Review) 1. The quality of the board & the pieces is excellent! The board is of wooden and the pieces is made up of plastic, but the quality of the board & the pieces is excellent. 2. The box of the chess is also good. The things which I don't like - 1. The board is little small (according to me) it could be more big. But it is playable, it is not that small that you can't even play. 2. The blocks of the board could be more bright. The blocks are little dull. Final Conclusion- It is good and you must buy if your price range is under ₹300. It is good for children aswell as for teengers. Go for it!😁

It is just an okay product. The pricing for the quality of pieces as well as the board is just okay. average quality, light-weight plastic. Board is made of thick paper (we called it 'gatta' in Hindi). The box unnecessarily is made big to give a premier look - and ends up eating space in wardrobes instead of adding any value. The problem is not only with this chess game, but with Funskool itself. Funskool was a brand that signified quality in my childhood days. Alas, no more. Among my several purchases, the whole travel series turned out to be pathetic and unplayable - either they have changed the rules and made things too small to play well. The only three products I have liked in their recent range is Othello (travel version), 3x3 rubiks and the Uno game cards.

Good material, learning at its best. Using since 4 years

The chess board actually seems like a royal wooden finish in classic style. It's just that the brown check boxes inside chess board if made little light texture then it would have been clear 5 star winner for chessboard under 300rs.Also the pieces are quite good. They does not fall off even at high speed of fan or wind. I had read review so I checked it by myself. There is no problem with the look and feel of the product. You can actually feel as if it's a royal chessboard.. Trust me.. I felt that.. 😊. It's not just for kids.. Its for professionals as well. Nice work. 😊

Good purchase but only if you are a casual player who plays like one or two matches a week. The problem is that the board is non magnetic and light at at the same time, thus if u r not playing on a stable surface, the pieces will fall off. Go for a magnetic chess if u play often. The product is still value for money though.

Board color is not good , everything else is ok, as you can see I added the photo , bought this at 243 , so acording to price it was not upto mark
