I needed to replace a set of six hand towels as they were becoming somewhat threadbare, old and quite honestly deserving of retirement. I spent some time looking for suitable replacements and looked here on Amazon several times. The problem was, there are so many, ranging from cheap and nasty to extraordinarily expensive. I wanted reasonable quality at a reasonable price. The towels to be replaced were red or even terracotta in colour, which I now know is called orange! I chose these black ones because all the reasonably priced orange ones were not reasonably priced. Several items in my kitchen are actually black/stainless steel so black does make sense. These towels were an excellent choice, as they are of a good quality, proper hand towel size and at a very acceptable price. I would recommend these to anyone as great value for money. I have not as yet washed any of them, but feel confident that all will be well.

these are lovely towels, I will be honest and say I didn't expect much because of the very low price, but I was wrong, these are nice and soft and a good size, very good quality and look really nice, they are a perfect size for bath towels, however if you want a towel that covers you totally incase you need to answer the door to the postman then I would suggest you go for the "bath sheets". (doubt the postman would mind though) -). seriously these are the best bath towels ive bought at such a low price. I would say don't doubt them because of such a low price, they are very good value and I would highly recommend them. I'm totally pleased.

At first I received the wrong colour and size towels but after having returning and reminding the seller I have not yet received the product I eventually received the correct one. So that was a bit annoying.However , the actual product is what you pay for. The towels are soft, vibrant in colour. They are a bit thinner than the towels I have bought prior but it's no bother.

I've bought many towels over the years both cheap and expensive but I have to say, that these are the absolute best. Soft, absorbent and a far price. I will be purchasing more as future gifts. I would strongly recommend these towels. You can't go wrong!

Ok for cheap towels, a lot thinner than our other towels, but fine for spares, definitely absorb water and the colour is lovely. You get what you pay for.

Beautiful towels. Always a gamble buying towels online but the colour is accurate and they are super fluffy. My teenage son has even taken to stealing the new pink ones for swim practice over his own. I think that speaks for itself.Can't comment on longevity but they are well finished. Think I'll be buying more.Company were a pleasure to order from. No fuss and the delivery arrived earlier than the estimated date.

Please note the picture is misleading. The towels are as thin as they get, think major superstores economy towel. The colour is reasonably accurate and they arrived the correct size in a reasonable timeframe. Being the pedant I am I read through the comments pre-purchase and dismissed the negative comments as the inevitable moaners but they were right, I was wrong. Lastly I see "really soft" written quite a lot; in fairness I'm yet to wash them which may improve their feel but currently they are slightly rougher than what I'd expect from even the economy towels. Are they cheap? Yes. Are they cheap enough for what you get? No, I don't think so. As another reviewer said and I originally sneered at, they're good enough as a last resort towel or perhaps when your freezer has inexplicably made a dirty protest on your floor. In short I'd keep looking, I certainly will be.

So disappointed with these towels. Shouldn't have got seduced by the cheap price, you really do get what you pay for in this case. They are extremely thin. I washed them before use, as you do, and hoped that maybe they would fluff up with a tumble dry but they didn't. They are also the strangest shade of grey I have ever seen. I don't even know how to describe it, but it certainly isn't the 'silver grey' I was hoping for. Lastly I did use one just the once to see if it's drying qualities would induce me to give it an extra star but sadly nothing can redeem them.
