Can i connect it to a tv? and turn it on during day too?

There’s no point connecting this to a TV as it doesn’t have an exact switch-off time so you may have a situation when it switches off while you are still watching the TV (and you will have to move a bit for it to re start and that can take time coming back to the same channel) and on the other hand it can be running when you even leave the room, depending on how much time you have set it up for. Turning it on during the day is also a challenge but you could cover it with a dark cloth to switch it on but then that’s not an automatic switching on.

how is the connections done.to the cfl bulb?

Dear Kabir, The electrical connection of the Motion Sensor will be in series after switch , and it cn be use for any type of light , It works satisfactory and product is OKEY.

Can it sense motion of stray cats that enter balcony and dirty the area?

since the body area of cats is much small it may not sence thermal radiation may not be suffeient
