Simple and easy to replace!
This is a very easy bulb or unit to replace. Simple and fast. The reason I did not give it a 5 star rating is that I bought it for a TV that we use at a weekend getaway and I have only used it a few times. The picture is quite good and sharp so its just a matter of time that I can either give it a complete 5 star rating or have the option to maintain the rating it now has or lower it according to how it performs.Lorenzo

I purchased my lamp in February 2012 lamp was dim upon arrival. Seller offered to send replacement if I shipped the lamp back. I did not, because I did not want to un install the lamp that I had just learned to install, and I wanted to watch tv. It is now October 2012 and the lamp has blown! Only lasted about 8 months. They come with a 150 day warranty. If your lamp is dim send it back. I will be buying from Sony from now on.

Works like new
Would be 5 stars if it had more complete instructions. Ordered as a replacement to have on hand, so when bulb in TV fails I don't have to wait 2 days for a new one. Have ordered in the pasted and fits like the original. good for 2-3 years.

Mercury lamp for Rear Projector
This was a great buy for the unit I was fixing. After installation, the product performed perfectly.The TV looked so good compared to my vacuum tube counterpart. I would like to buy one of the rear projection units soon.

Fit my Sony projection TV perfectly, took only a few minutes total to install. The picture seems just fine for this being so much cheaper than a genuine Sony replacement.

Works great and lasts a long time
I use the heck out of my 60" Sony and have replaced the lamp twice three times now. Very cheap fix for such long use. Driver board might be going next and that is $200 or so, so I will have to decide whether to keep or replace the TV. Lamps are a no brainer.

great product for great price
Very happy with this bulb. Easy to install and it works great. Much better than replacing my TV. Would recommend to other users.
