Worked great. Safely whelped a litter of 6 standard poodles

The media could not be loaded. Was great for mom and pups! Has the board on the side so pups don't get squished. There is a section that has removable panels that makes it easier for mom to hop in and out. These are aussie pups. We were taking them to bigger pen during the day 3-5 weeks, then they'd get moved back at night. But then had to start leaving them in bigger pen that had had taller walls, all day.IMPORTANT-It only comes with one pad. Be sure to purchase at least two more. We eventually bought a total of 4 pads. The pads wash easy in the washer and dryer. Not that expensive.

I ordered 2 of these. One arrived in poor shape, likely due in part to shipping stressors, and the lack of decent packaging by the manufacturer. It comes in 2 thin canvas-y bags in a cardboard box. No Styrofoam, no padding. 5 of the boards were cracked on the end in the damaged one. Amazon made it right, but still this could have been avoided easily with styrofoam inserts on the ends inside the box. So, as far as a whelping box goes, it's ok. It's functional, and the weight is good, not too light, not too heavy. It's not going to be quite as fancy as the more popular and costly brands like E Z, or Dura, this is more like those garden boxes except it comes with pig rails, a door area for the dam, a floor cover (with a really unattractive pattern) and some puppy collars (that I don't think are particularly safe for puppies.) I would like it to be a little taller than it is, but again, for the price you have to temper your expectations. I'd call it a good budget option overall, and a functional whelping box. I'd buy it again with some caveats.Dingo, you're on track but if you are reading this please:1. Consider making it one board taller, or at least offer that option in the 48" version2. Put styrofoam padding in the ends of the packing box3. Make the floor pad one plain color, black, grey etc or at least a simple pattern like pawprints?

I was a little skeptical purchasing this because of the reviews. BUT I'm so glad I did! Folks, quality control was listening to you all. There are no screws no hardware. It goes together like a very easy puzzle. I pulled the directions out but didn't need them after I started putting it together it all fell into place. Less than15min to put together. I will DEFINITELY buy another! It is of good weight and quality PVC material. The mat for underneath is nice quality with nonslip on the bottom. I'm a super Happy Customer!!

I purchased this for my dog that was having puppies. It did it's job as far as her having a safe place. The only thing I didn't care for was how you open and close the area for the dog to come in and out. It's plastic pieces and moving it up and down over time the pieces broke. So that should be designed a bit differntly. Other then that. It did it's purpose.
