What's the difference between the New Wayfarer (RB2132) and Original Wayfarer (RB2140)?

The Original Wayfarer (RB2140) is the iconic 1950s acetate frame — bolder construction, taller lenses, classic forward tilt. The New Wayfarer (RB2132) is a modern update in lightweight nylon: smaller lens height, flatter angle, more universal fit.

Which Wayfarer size is right for me?

Each Wayfarer family has multiple sizes • RB2132 New Wayfarer — 52mm, 55mm, 58mm • RB2140 Original Wayfarer — 50mm, 54mm The number = lens width; smaller fits narrower faces. See the SIZING bullet on each listing for hinge-to-hinge.

Both Wayfarer styles are sold in polarized and non-polarized versions. Polarized models have "Polarized" in the color/variant name and a small "P" next to the Ray-Ban logo on the right lens. All Wayfarer lenses include 100% UV protection.

Are these comfortable for all-day wear?

Yes — both Wayfarers are designed for all-day wear. The RB2132 New Wayfarer is the smaller, more streamlined frame; the RB2140 Original Wayfarer is the bolder acetate icon. Many customers wear either for travel, commuting, and outdoor events.

How do I know these are authentic?

Authentic Ray-Ban — sold and shipped by Amazon, backed by Ray-Ban's extended protection against manufacturing defects. Look for the etched Ray-Ban logo on the right lens and the model and size code printed inside the left temple.
