Do find that you will need to use another small amount for the back of the hair if required to control that section.Overall, this wax is ideal for a hangover or for a night out or even general use as its a fast product to use, works well once warmed up and transfers onto hair easily and no shine on where its has been put on....but its a fast use so set and go...not extra messing required.

This is a strong hair product which I have used for my hair both long and short, it smells great and it has a strong hold. Great all round.

Thought i'd give this Prorapid styling wax a try & have had really good results with it so far.Prorapid offer a few of these waxes on the product page but it seems like the majority of them was rated a 5 on hold strength & a 5 on shine except the Los Cabos (Green) which is the one i got to try which also boasts a 5 on hold strength but only a 1 on shine, which ended up being the perfect wax for me as i usually tend to go for matte finish waxes.First impressions when opening the box was the packaging looked really nice, you open the lid to see a blacked sealed top.However upon opening the sealed top you are hit with the most amazing smell.Where some hair products can often have quite a unnatural or chemical smell to them, this green wax from Prorapid had an amazing apple fragrance so i can only imagine their other hair products also smell amazing too.I've got quite short hair so have been working around a pea sized amount of wax into my hands before applying it to my dry hair with really good results.It been holding its shape throughout the whole day & has a really nice, natural looking matte finish to it which i love.You can't really rework the style later in the day but you don't really need to because it holds its shape even after taking off my jumper throughout the day or getting changed after i finish work.At the time of writing this wax is only £6.99 which i feel offers really good value for money.Its around the same price but better quality than my usual brand i pick up from the supermarket & works out to be quite a bit cheaper than my favourite brand i buy online from time to time.Definitely something i will continue buying going forward from here instead of my supermarket brand.

I went for the "Los Cabos" (green) variant, maximum hold with a matte finish.Initial thoughts were that it smelled great, like a fresh green apples but between the fingers it felt pretty gloopy.The text on the back of the tub is so miniscule I can't focus on it, let alone make out the ingredients but I highly suspect this product is mostly PVA/PVP. It feels like thickened glue, it spreads out between the fingers leaving a thick sticky plastic-like clear film.Applying it to dry hair, it just instantly clags it up, I mean with traditional gel type products you get a working period, then it sets, not so with this. With clay styling products, you work them in and they remain workable, not so with this. It kind of just seizes up into a big gummy mess. It certainly does provide good hold but personally I'm going to stick with clay based products.I think if you have very short hair then this will be fine but if you have thick long hair, this is not for you.

Smells like bubblegum and nicely defines and shapes without being too heavy (if you don't over so it).More of a wax than a gel and as such does not go dry and crispy with it hold, more reworkable.

This wax is great! The packaging is striking and if I saw it on the shelf I would probably buy it based on that alone. The wax smells nice and holds the hair in place really well. Love the texture of this wax too. Will defo buy this again

I'm a gel person normally and need some good hold as I have wavy, quite wiry hair that has its own mind. This wax is amazing!The first thing that hits you is the great smell. Its different from anything I've tried before and is really pleasant with out a strong bubble gum fragrance but in a nice way.It holds my thick hair really well without the need to pile the product on and it's not noticeable in my hair by eye or feel that I've got wax in. This is excellent as I like the natural look.Very happy with the results it gives and so recommend.

I absolutely love the lasting smell of this product. It has a nice matte finish with no shine and sets well to keep your hair in shape throughout the day, all while using only a small amount of product. Overall, it's a good product and good value for money
