Can't get Malt Vinegar these days. This option is a real blessing, and thankfully I received the right consignment.

Classic Malt Vinegar
In my childhood I knew only of malt vinegar, synthetic vinegar was not marketed then. If I am not wrong, we used to get made in England vinegar then. We also got malt vinegar made by a Himachal Pradesh based distillery. Gradually it vanished from the market and was replaced by ACV, and more pedestrian, synthetic vinegar. Like other natural vinegars, like wine vinegars or balsamic (a different category of course), this one also has deeper flavor and the taste is a bit mellower than the synthetic variety. A good product.

Companion for French fries.
Enhances the taste of French fries. Great companion. Drizzle a bit on top and enjoy. Has a lovely pungent taste.

English import
First off, I haven't had any yet but the label says that it's an import from the UK so it should taste the same as vinegar bought there and is not an Indianised version (like the tomato ketchup). Secondly, this is one of those "Not for Retail Sale" products. It's an "institutional pack" whatever that is. With the Baked Beans that are multi-pack items, this is illegal to sell directly to customers in the UK as single items. who knows whether that law applies in India or not. Just understand that the product is bought super cheaply in the UK and sold at quite a higher price in India. Saying that, you can't get this any other way and I would prefer to have it than not have it.
