The batteries were difficult to put in. It took two of us to pry open the slot to pull out the battery box. The handle to support the head misfit, and fell out. The child loved the sound effects, great, but unable to ride the head heavy, and no handle on one side. I would have returned it, but the child loved it too much.

Great horse sounds. Our granddaughter loved it and rode it inside and outside. It's very well made. The wheels make it slide around easily.

I bought this as a gift for my great nephew’s 4th birthday. I had given my great niece (his 1st cousin) one for her 3rd birthday and all the little kids at the party loved it! Neither wanted to give up their galloping which posed an issue. We were all forever hopeful that this would cease when it was time to go home. Apparently my great nephew was so impressed by this horsey that he talked about it for the next 6 months until it was his birthday.Functionally- it does exactly what it’s supposed to do. Those kiddos galloped all over that house. Last I heard, it was still holding up, so I take it to be pretty good quality.The sound quality seemed appropriate for what it is and the price; I’d even say that it’s rather loud. I dunno- maybe because it was coupled with wild kids hyped up on sugar from the cake and ice cream- everything seemed loud at that point.I cannot speak for the battery life. I may never know if it still has the battery in it. Even though my nieces suggested it to me for both kiddos, I think they were reconsidering life’s decisions for doing so.Who knows- the fun may have worn off by now. OR- it has been put away and will be brought out in later months … it’ll be like birthdays and Christmas all over again. 😁Overall, it’s a cute gift that didn’t break the bank. The kids seemed to have really enjoyed it.

A gift for my great grandson’s 2nd birthday. Quality built I do recommend this stick horse. He loves the sounds of the horse and clippity clop.

Cheaply made not worth the money was unable to thread the handle into one side and was falling apart in second day from normal use by an 8 year old

With a squeeze of the ear, the horse makes clip-clop sounds and even neighs. My child was thrilled by this—every time they pressed the button, they’d smile ear to ear and gallop off on their next adventure. The sound effects add an extra layer of fun and really bring the horse to life .
