We already have weighted utensils and spoons designed for our patient who has tremors and hand mobility issues due to a stroke, so I wasn’t sure these bowls would add any benefit. However, they do! Each one is curved, which makes it easier for people to scoop up their food. I got these for my six year old son, as I wanted to get some bowls/plates which don't slide around the table. These do have some tension against surfaces, but they are not foolproof. If you push on them just a little bit, they will move around.I deducted stars for two reasons. The first is that there is a black rubber ring on the bottom of each piece. This piece comes out and is not that easy to put back in. The second reason is that they are very overpriced. When I told my mom the price, she said she thought that I got them from a local dollar store.
