We had a Hamilton Beach grinder for years, but the thin cover broke long ago. It recently quit working. We wanted another Hamilton Beach grinder to replace the good one we had. This is far superior to the old design. The cover is much sturdier. The machine is far quieter. It is also much better for controlling how small or large you want the grounds to be. We find we use far fewer coffee beans with this grinder because of the way we are able to grind them better, having more enhanced flavor and great control over the size of the grounds. Between saving money on coffee beans and the fact the price hasn’t gone up that much over the years, we are very pleased with the value, durability, and overall performance.

Works great. The different style grinds with the different amounts works great and being able to set and just push down once and it will grind away and auto-stop when done. Great value at the mid $20's. Really top quality and was pleasantly surprised. I was pretty sure it was going to be high quality just from the weight of the package when it arrived.

Just used my new coffee grinder today, and I was amazed at how simple it was to use, and especially how quietly it grinds...so much quieter than my old Breville. Coffee came out evenly ground, and the pot of coffee was terrific. What a good deal for a simple and excellent grinder!

I really like this blade grinder..I have tried multiple burr grinders in the past and they are slow and noisy, and they only last a year or so before the motors burn out. (For example, I have gone through 2 Cuisinart burr grinders in 3 years.) Full disclosure: I like a fine grind for espresso with my Starbucks French Roast beans, and the burr grinders take a long time to grind a hopper full of beans. I also have a Krups mini blade grinder which has lasted about 10 years, but it only holds about a half cup of beans at a time. This Hamilton Beach holds about 2 cups of beans, has a large reservoir, has an auto setting, and is fast, inexpensive and fairly quiet, especially compared to burr grinders. Recommended.

This was a replacement for my ancient Mr. Coffee grinder. I’ve only had it for a little over a week but so far it’s been great. As you can see it’s substantially larger than the Mr. Coffee grinder. The removable stainless steel grinder basket wasn’t something I thought I needed but turns out to be my favorite thing about this product. I find the grind to be a little inconsistent with a coarser grind on top of a much finer grind, that takes a little effort to scoop out, on the bottom of the grinder basket. It took me a time or two to find the right grind for my taste but once I did I get a consistently good pot of coffee with just one touch. The grinder feels substantial and it’s much quieter than its predecessor. With the stainless steel cup, it also feels like, there’s less chance of microplastic making its way into your coffee. It definitely feels like it’ll give years of good service. I’d give it five stars if the power cord wasn’t so short. You can wind it up for neater storage but I’d gladly trade that feature for a longer cord.

Best grinder I've owned. Works great, easy to use, easy to clean. The adjustable grind is great and the set it and forget it grinding works excellent.

I brew espresso using a Moka pot requiring my coffee beans to be very finely ground. This grinder does the job and is very quiet.

First off, this little machine sounds like it means business. You press the button and it’s like, “Stand back, I’m about to turn these beans into pure motivation.” And it delivers. Whether you want a coarse grind for your fancy weekend French press or a finer grind for weekday survival mode, it handles it like a champ. The removable grinding chamber? Absolute genius. No more trying to pour coffee grounds like you’re defusing a bomb. Just pop it out, dump, rinse, done. Even I couldn’t mess that up—and that’s saying something. Also, it’s got enough capacity to make coffee for a small army… or just one very tired human on a Monday morning. No judgment. Cleanup is easy, operation is simple, and it hasn’t once judged me for needing a third cup before 9 AM. Honestly, it’s less of a grinder and more of a tiny countertop hero.

Nice grinder but the power cable always comes out. Poor design and because off it I would not buy this grinder again
