Chasing Liberty [DVD] [2004]

Decent feel good movie. Both leads are pretty good though Mr Goode comes across as the better actor :-) Mandy Moore takes a decent part and comes across as believable (as much as these films ever are). The story line of a runaway Presidents daughter is not too far fetched and the inevitable end while predicable tries hard to be original. Fun and not as fluffy as the same style TV movies, with a much better cast than those usually have but in the same vein. My wife throughly enjoyed it and I didn't cringe too much :-)

I am not a teenager although this is who this film is aimed at but it is a light hearted fun film which is well acted and enjoyable. I liked the idea of the film which is that the first daughter of the president has no normal life due to the body guards that follow her everywhere so she stages and escape on the back of a motor cycle of a young man she has just met. He turns out to be an under cover agent paid to look after her. They travel Europe together, falling in love, until the end when she discovers who he really is and gets all upset with him.

I bought this DVD because Matthew Goode is in it. I was not disappointed. It is a light hearted romp with many good roles in it and generally well acted. Excellent buy.

I loved this dvd. Gentle romance that is full of funny moments, first love and adventure. Matthew Goode plays his role to perfection! Watched it several times already!

Dvd was very good had no problems.

Even with subtitles in Dutch!

Not the best film I've ever seen but if your in the mood to watch an easy to watch a gentle film, worth watching.
