This has been one of the best upgrades I’ve made for my car. The front and rear recording delivers crisp and detailed footage. Setup was straightforward. The voice control works well for hands-free operation. The screen is bright and easy to navigate. For reliable dual-channel recording with smart features you’ll actually use, this is worth it.

I purchased this camera in May of 23 so it is going on 3 years. I can attest that this camera has been operating flawlessly the entire time. The video quality is exceptional, and I consider this purchase well worth the investment. I am purchasing another one for a gift for my brother for his new vehicle.

Ahora me doy cuenta el por que esta diseñada para que la camara trasera se ponga dentro de la ventana trasera. Tuve la camara Lasko con espejo de 12 pulgadas en una Honda 2007, instalando la camara trasera en el exterior por la placa por seguridad y observar los objetos y personas de atras, lo malo que de noche las luces de los carros son muy brillantes y mas ahora que hay mas blancas y pues ciega y lastima la vista. Con la Vantrue E2 en la ventana trasera adentro de un Toyota Rav4 2019 es una chulada !! Con la camara interior frontal trabaja excelente de dia o de noche ahora con la aplicación en el celular es lo mejor que he tenido y bajar video a mi celular en su wifi 5G es muy rapido sin neceidad de extraer la targeta de memoria para ver el video en una computadora personal es mucho mas rapido.

UPDATED REVIEW down to one star, and needs 0. After much back and forth with Vantrue, someone finally suggested I disconnect the REAR camera as part of the troubleshooting. Low and behold, the front camera works completely fine if the rear camera is not plugged in. So Vantrue concluded my rear camera must be faulty. And after asking me to send back the current camera (at my expense), they sent me a new rear camera. And as soon as I plugged it in, I was back to recording arbitrarily stopping. At this point, I believe there is a software issue, and rather than try to confirm that or fix that, I have been advised to send the entire camera system back and they will send me a new one. A new camera is not going to change a software issue, plus both pieces have already been replaced once. I am a VERY frustrated customer at this point. I am so disappointed in this camera. I had it professionally installed with the Vantrue cable kit. And the bottom line is this camera is unreliable. It arbitrarily just stops recording. I find myself constantly checking to ensure the green light is flashing (indicator that it is actively recording), so at this point it has become a distraction. NOT GOOD. I have swapped out the unit, I have reformatted and swapped out the memory card, I have updated the firmware. Vantrue's recommendation was to use the cigarette adapter power cord to see if that resolves the issue. The unit isn't losing power. It just isn't reliable and doesn't work properly. When it DOES record, the picture is great. This is my first dash cam so I am finding the wifi connection to be very wonky...truly everything about this unit feels wonky. I do NOT recommend it, and only gave it 2 stars because when it is recording I can't fault the actual recording. They look good. But the unreliability is a complete deal breaker here. I've glanced at it SO MANY TIMES to realize it's not recording...and grateful that something didn't happen in that moment. What's the point in even having the thing if it's a crap shoot if it's going to be recording when you need it to.

I like it a lot easier to install
