These are awesome! I've had them for a couple/few months now and they still amaze me when I turn them on. I like the Y wall lights, too, but I think these are the better bang for your buck if you're considering one or the other. They're vibrant, customizable, and controllable from your phone. What's not to like?

Unbelievable quality. Only downside is make sure you buy super glue tape. These do get hot and will fall off with the original tape. Super glue does the trick. The lights are amazing though

I was iffy on buying these. I'm generally pretty cheap with the rgb I have in my setup going for the lower 15-20 dollar options. I got a notification that the 6 pack for these was on sale and bit the bullet.These are so sick.Obviously from other customer reviews and pictures you can see that the lights are cool, but they absolutely nailed all of the other little things as well. The unboxing experience is insane. The box is a nesting doll style shell where you peel back layers of texture to get to the middle. The lights themselves are gorgeous with an integrated magnetic snap on system for the diffusers. Obviously you can tailor and customize the lights to be whatever color you like, but the box includes a custom qr coded card to unlock evangelion themes that are 10/10 directly out of the box. I can not recommend these enough.

Love the lights and ease to install. Added extra adhesive to ensure a good hold. One issue I have with Govee on these lights is they do not offer extra connectors to buy separately. Instead, if you want to do a different orientation of the lights you have to buy over priced extension kits. Not ideal.

These lights are super cool! I have spent countless hours playing with all of the different functions and combinations! I bought 3 sets of 6 + connectors and 2 sets of the “Y” version. I plan on buying more for sure!! I bought my own adhesive (20lb test Velcro roll) and cut them to size. Now I know my lights will never fall off. There’s so many good things to say about these lights from unboxing to days later tinkering with my own light show. The app has its own community!! So freaking cool!! I can use my voice to control any setting or just have my lights automatically turn on when I’m near and shut off when I get too far. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND buying these if you’re interested in them. You won’t be disappointed! I will be buying more

I’m a Philips Hue owner and have never cared for Govee products in the past, however the Evangelion crossover and the unique look of these lights persuaded me to buy them.Out of the box these lights are impressive, they’re nice and solid feeling and the magnetic covers look great and give a nice depth to the lights. Hooking them up is super easy once you decide the shape you want. Overall setup is a breeze!Once set up adding them to the Govee app was incredibly easy. The lights have a ton of great function and pattern options right out of the gate. They’re also extremely bright when turned up, and look great when you turn them to about half power.Overall I’m extremely pleased with these. There’s a lot of great little Eva nods on them, they have a unique futuristic/cyberpunk type feel to them that separates them from the normal lights that Philips or Govee normally sell. My only gripe would be that they should include another set of connectors with them. You get a small square and a small triangle connector in this but it would really open up the set up possibilities if we had a couple more.

It is pricey but after owning it for a while, i can say it is well worth the price. It does a lot special lights but I have to say that these lights are so smooth, sometimes i think they cost more.
