Ok i didn't buy this to stand a plate on. I actually got this to stand my cookery book on. I got the larger size so that it would hold the majority of my cookery books and it is perfect. Nice and sturdy and keeps my books mess free. Love it.

This isn't a cheap stand (costing £9.99 at the time of review) but it is sturdy and holds a 30cm slate plaque nicely. The bamboo looks nice and is nicely finished. No complaints about the quality, just not convinced on the price (but that is probably just me)

When I first opened the Amazon package, I was a bit confused because the product box looked like a book or a catalogue at first glance!The product itself however, is great. It is so sturdy, and can hold a heavy plate up. I’ve been in the market for a plate stand and haven’t found any success until this one! However, because it is solid, you are not able to adjust the width of the opening of the stand to hold different sized plates.I give this a 10/10 because it is exactly what I’ve been looking for and is it so solid that if the building shakes, I doubt this is gonna budge!

Assembly of this stand is really simple once done it's a very nice piece. It's really stable even for a bigger item. I used it for a very large platter plate to display in my kitchen. The wood look is a plus. Especially with my rustic themed kitchen.

I liked this so much that I ordered a 2nd one. This works perfect to display the 2 books that I have written. I'm not above a shameless plug, but won't do that today.

It is made of wood and locks well in place. It stays in place and makes a great decoration display. I have kept my most loved display plate and looks pretty good.
