It feels nice and smooth, it really absorbs my hamsters pee when she does pee in it, and it clumps well for cleaning. It is a little pricier than Zoomed reptisand, but it seems to be more readily available in stock than reptisand. Comes double pouched in case the original pouch explodes I guess, which is nice since I had a leaking bag of reptisand delivered to us in a box before.

I put a little sand bath in my hamsters enclosure and she goes nuts for it! This is also truly a low dust sand! I was actually astonished at how little dust was in the air as I poured the sand into the bath, plus one bag should last you quite a long while so the price isnt too bad!

UPDATE: Seller contacted me and offered full refund. I did not accept it as I had used the product, but wanted to highlight the great customer service and care they put into their product and brand. This definitely gets them another star!I did not like it much and ended up ordering the old brand I had used before. This sand didn't absorb smell like the other one and it clumped way too much.Overall I did end up using it for the enclosure floor and it helped keep the bedding cleaner. Still I wont use it again

The media could not be loaded.  Miss Piggie is a middle aged hedgie and a new addition to our family. This was her first time being in a sand bath. At first she was uninterested. I put a couple of treats in there and she got in and found them and after digging to find a nibble she started yeetin the sand everywhere! She loves it! The sand is medium to fine grain and I did notice some dust come out of the bag when I dumped it into the container so i gave it a few shakes but this didnt seem to bother her nose or stick at all. She did pee and pewp in it and it clumped great - i was able to just scoop it out no problem. Very versitile. The 2.5lb bag was a little small for her to have more than a couple weeks of use so ill be buying a larger bag in the future. Highly recommend this for your pets enrichment and entertainment.

Great product for my hamster...value for the money

This Niteangel Hamster Desert Bath Sand | No-Dust Bath or Potty Litter Sand for Hamster Chinchillas is the proper good white sand, just like the beach sand. Not like the huge box of red sand I bought before that was so expensive, and yet garbage, The red sand made my whole hamster all red, every time he went on it. They gave me mostly all talc type powder sand in a box, with weighted large bits. This is just the way it should be. Sand grains to help clean the fur, not red powder like the red in the box. The smaller quantites are best, less powder (which is bad for them to breathe in, less heavy weighted particles. Just right!! Just because it is proper, no need to raise the price to the seller lol.

Edit 13 Feb 2022:The odour control isn't really good as I thought it was, the smell lingers after sifting through the sand.My hamster loves it. I've used the other grey sand but due to some supply issues I had to switch to the Niteangel brand and it's wayyy wayyy better. Softer, tinier particles, clumps to pee better and even clumps to poop! Best of all is that it absorbs the pee smell perfectly.One 6lb bag fills up one Niteangel circular sand bath just right. My lil guy practically lives in this sand now.
