Poor Material
Poor material plus it was not even on the skirt

Good quality
Bought this for a wedding I was attending. It's only sheets of fabric and does take some work to get it to look good. My mother is pretty good with alterations so it wasn't a big deal.

Cheap fabric and you’ll need a tailor
You get what you pay for with this. Traditional, tailored lehengas start at $250 and take months to be ready, but because I only needed this for an Indian wedding, this level of investment was fine. Unless you’re a very skilled sewer/crafter and have a sewing machine, don’t try to finish these pieces yourself and allow plenty of time between ordering and your event date.I went to my local tailors, and the skirt was easy enough to give direction for because it just needed to be closed and have a zipper put in, but the top isn’t even what I would consider half-stitched. The top is essentially a pattern on top of fabric and there is some extra fabric provided for the back part of the top. I had to give my tailor a lot of direction and they added a zipper and had to call me back before I went to pick up the finished product to ensure it fitted properly. The material is also kind of itchy, so be aware if you’re sensitive to tags on clothes. The dupatta (scarf) is made of cheap fabric and came very wrinkled, and you’ll need to iron these out. I used a steamer and it didn’t work well.Overall, I’m happy to have two new pieces of tailored clothing I can wear again and this was a good level of investment for a one-time event. Otherwise, don’t expect top-not fabric and materials.

Unstitched but beautiful materials
The materials were beautiful but unstitched, so I had to go to a shop to have the dress made. The skirt was made with the rich fabric and dupatta was perfect as is, but I ended up not using the material for the choli.

Skirt is not finished!
At least you can see in the photos that the top is completely unstitched. I thought the skirt was done, ready to wear… but buyer beware! That is not the case. I was able to finish it myself after extensive YouTube searching… maybe naivety on my part (I’m not Indian) but it would have been nice to know what I was getting myself into.Beautiful material, though, and it was perfect for the Indian celebrations during my friends’ wedding. Bought a separate, FINISHED choli to wear with it. Didn’t even want to attempt that one (I’m not that skilled of a sewer!)

Beautiful
Description clearly says unstitched, Indian dressed are very expensive because they are made personal to the person wearing it, I guess if your American you wouldn’t know that, beautiful material

Read the description!
So when I ordered this, I was in a rush and did not read the description properly. It is not fully stitched. Meaning the skirt has to be stitched before wearing and also the top. In addition to that, the top is not what’s pictured above!! The neckline is low. If you are not a professional seamstress, or do not plan to go to one, do not purchase.
