Great for conducting inspections, especially when reaching high places without a ladder!

Extension is nice but pushes back if not at angle and tips need non slip coating so it doesn’t roll off when holding rounded test button

I purchased this to use for fire inspections. I was super excited because I currently use a make-shift one out of an old extendable windshield scrapper. Finally decided to upgrade and ordered this thinking I could keep it in my pocket on inspections. When I got the pole I assembled it at my computer desk and while extending the pole one of the barbs broke off. The pieces are barely tack welded on so it broke off with the slightest touch. Glad it happened at home and not in front of a customer... Returned immediately. I would avoid this product.

Only wish it had a device to unscrew a bulb. Ha ha. But seriously this was a good purchase. This gives me the reach I need to push the buttons on the emergency exits and to test the emergency lights. Nice angled feature on one end to flip switches and I have also used this to retrieve stuff that went under a massive machine at work. Finally remembered to bring this home to flip a switch in a hallway that has one of those overhead fans to shut it off. Getting a ladder in that area is hazardous and this made it possible to avoid the possibility of getting hurt. Don't like putting ladders in questionable positions and this helped eliminate that possible nightmare. Worth your health to get this. A+ for design and ease of use.

The top bracket that screws on kept falling off during first use on building inspections. I'll glue the top on but then it won't fit in the carrying case.

The rod is flimsy and snapped almost instantly. It was not designed to do what it stated. Additionally the slightest pressure made it bend and snap immediately. This was a complete misrepresentation and a total waste of money. Deserves ZERO stars

This extension pole is useful in testing devices that are too far away to reach for. As you can see in the picture, the piece that attaches to the top just screws on. Even after screwing it on tightly, after awhile when testing devices, it will unscrew itself and have to be re-tightened. Also the piece that actually makes contact with the test button of the device has a rounded, metal edge. This makes it hard to press the button since the tester will slide off the button. A rubber attachment to the end would have helped out here. It's okay for testing but there might be a better option without these flaws.

Broke after a couple of uses.
