Bought this halo for my sweet Nancie that went fully blind. It helped her navigate the environment without bumping into obstacles, providing her with more confidence and independence. The harness is easy to put on and fits securely without causing discomfort. However, it may take some time for dogs to get used to wearing it, and the halo can be a bit cumbersome in tight spaces. Overall, it’s a valuable tool that can significantly improve the quality of life for blind dogs.

Really happy with this product. My sweet girl was diagnosed with diabetes 4 months ago and developed cataracts overnight. The first day of her being blind, she ran full force into our fence and it completely spooked her to walk around anymore. I found this and it’s allowed her to gain some confidence back. It took a minute to figure it out and to keep it from sliding side to side, but put a shirt/sweater on underneath and it will stay put. Also, it’s meant to be worn snug and a shirt underneath will help with comfort. It’s nice quality and as long as it makes my Maggie happy, I don’t care what it costs. :) Maggie is able to eat/drink and sleep with it on. Definitely would recommend to make sure it can’t get stuck on anything. Awesome product. Maggie is about 16 lbs and we purchased a small. The sizing chart worked well for us.

This item works as expected, except when it fails, the velcro cones on the halo rings do not stay on, they keep sliding off which results in this not working. better adhesive used on this part might resolve it.Update - was thinking there would be some response to my review but yeah nothing.

There are a lot of harness systems for blind pets but the thoughtfulness and the engineering with this make all the difference. The entire back of the harness is velcro, so that you can quickly remove the wings/guard loop in a hurry or reposition it for comfort. The halo itself has long "prongs" that are securely affixed with velcro and there are velcro tabs on the wings as well. Your dog can (and will) bonk into walls, furniture, people, etc, without worrying that the halo will pop off or dig into their body and the halo itself doesn't touch their face (especially important to protect their eyeballs from scratching or infection/injury). The system and idea are simple -- it's been copied many times, but it's these little details that make all the difference and also make it worth the money.

This product is amazing.... not much else to say. It has given new life and extent to our senior deaf/blind furbaby. He took to it easy and has new sense of freedom and confidence that is priceless.
