Great little saw
Bought this saw because I was replacing my deck. It worked great for deck boards. Light weight and easy to handle.

It is larger than other five-inchers.
Disliked size, too big. It’s as big as my makita, 71/4.

Very handy for smaller jobs. Excellent safety features. Takes a little to get used to.
(See ratings explanation below the review)This is great for small jobs. I really appreciated using this lighter saw. The entire plate rotates to the easily set depth. You have to press the safety button to pull the trigger, release the saw and allow the guard to rotate out of the way of the blade. The only downside is you must get used to not being able to view the blade on the mark in the same way. But once you do, you will appreciate the safety of this design. I was pleasantly surprised. My ratings system:5 stars...... I'm blown away by quality & value... a must buy! (I rarely give this)4 stars..... Pleasantly surprised, better than expected3 stars..... as advertised, got what I expected, any pros/cons balanced2 stars..... a little disappointed, I had hoped for better1 star ..... avoid, waste of time and money, junk (I rarely give this)

Good price
Great for doing paneling and small trim jobs where a full size circular saw is too big and bulky.

Nice saw
This is a nice saw. I really like the size of it. I just needed it for basic projects but I’m sure it could handle more as the power is decent. It’s not too heavy and has good accuracy. Very happy with this product

Compact Hand Saw
This is a corded saw so you need an outlet close but you don't have to worry about a dead battery charging. This has plenty of power for a small saw and will do most small homeowner projects with ease.

Effortless Tool To Use
The media could not be loaded. The saw comes with instructions, R/L edge guide, vacuum hose, spare brushes, battery for laser guide line, and a couple Allen wrenches. The handle is comfortable enough for extended cuts. Has a lock that doesn't lock it in the 'on' position but not something I would want. Convenient features I like is the adjustable depth cut lock, the edge guide, and the laser light guide that really helps me cut straight, which isn't my strong point.Detachable hose for a shop vacuum helps in minimizing clean-up. The spring loaded base protects the blade and anything you may set the saw on.The push on, push off laser light could use protection from it being bumped and accidentally turned on. The AC cord measured 7 feet long, not 10 feet. Value wise, seems about average 4*.They state a single speed at about 5300 RPM which is good for straight line cuts (90° only) and I found it to glide through wood easily, leaving a pretty clean cut. Seems capable for any garage project I may undertake and maybe a smaller compliment for heavy duty saws used in construction. Allen wrench is used to remove/install blades. Overall its been an easy to use and efficient tool.
