Seen lots of hype about this type of brush on curly girl groups. Decided to try this one as a reasonably priced alternative. The notches in the sides really do help you create curls when used on wet hair/ with product.

Saw everyone on social media using this brush design. It is amazing! Usually I can't brush my hair at all after washing or my curls go stringy, but this detangles whilst encouraging clumps that are just the right size. Love it!

I haven't used the bounce curl brush so I can't compare, but I imagine this works the same! It makes my curl clumps more even, however they are slightly smaller than I would normally like. Definitely quicker than using a brush. The bristles help to distribute gel and cream into the hair more evenly. I would have rated it higher if the gaps were slightly larger to form larger curls. For the price it is good.
