Solidly constructed, like a mini version of an adult's bike. Rear brake activated by back-pedalling. Front brake activated by a rather fiddly and somewhat antiquated side pull system.

Previously she has been learning on second hand bikes, so was thrilled with this bike.The quality is good, and it relatively easy to put together.I have read other reviews. yes, there is no back peddle (this is US style breaking), however just move the bike forward a bit and you can get a peddle to just off top, to start riding.Lastly from a parent position, this style of bike makes it much easier to help with the transition to two wheels only 😀

I bought this bike just before Christmas for my daughter. Upon building it myself all seemed well until Christmas Day when she rode it and I realised all the problems that were to come. The breaks are cheap and nasty and when used wouldn’t function properly and one pad wouldn’t release off the tyre itself. It’s done nothing but squeak round my house since Christmas because of the awful designs quality of the springs under the seat and the cheap bearings on the wheels. Absolutely disgusted in bike and would’ve sent it back only we got rid of the box because first looks can be deceiving now I’ll be giving it away for free and going to Halfords where I should’ve in the first place. Shocking bike.

This bike is unsafe due to brakes that don’t fit properly to the bike. It took 2 hours to assemble and still didn’t work

This bike was a birthday gift for my 6-year-old granddaughter. It was super easy to assemble. The only part I thought was pretty cheap was the bell. It needs a better bell. Even the wicker basket and its attachment straps were better thought out and made than the bell. We will see how it stands up to the rigors of a 6-year-old!

This was a birthday present for my 4 yr old granddaughter. She absolutely loved it!!So very cute with the little wicker basket and also extremely sturdy. Putting it together was a breeze, done In less than 1/2hr. She’s at the lowest height at 4 so I’m pretty sure the bike will last her a couple of years before moving to a bigger size!Would definitely recommend

Le montage est un peu complexe notamment la partie "freinage" sinon dans l'ensemble il se monte facilement. Le vélo est vraiment solide, les matériaux sont de qualité. J'ai acheté les rubans multicolores séparément ça fait son effet. La sonnette est inclus avec le vélo. Pour un enfant de 4ans le 14'pouce je le trouve un peu grand enfant 1metre. C'est un ressenti bref qualité/prix pas déçu du tout.
