Just like good hash browns
Hash browns like these are wonderful! I love the convenience and easy preparation. Now if you have arthritis like me . They are difficult to open. But since they are a shelf Life product I appreciate the convenience of having hash browns anytime I want them. Taste is good to! I will reorder.

Better than frozen
Open the milk carton style box and fill with water to the line wait 20 minutes pour out the Excess water if any and you have instant hash browns. All that is left to do is put some in a pan Add some oil and start cooking its so easy and they taste like Restaurant hash browns. So much better than frozen, honestly.

Tasty
I use cold water and they soak and form up just fine in maybe 15 minutes. I drain, then put them in the pan with a little oil and toss them so the oil basically covers all them very lightly and then fry. When they're 1/2 done, I add a pat of butter in the center of the pan with the taters pushed towards the outside. Once it melts, I mix it in and they're delicious. The only downside is the cost. If they sold large containers like we used to get in the restaurant at a reasonable price, I'd be hooked on them. The texture was awesome. They are much easier and better, imo, than frozen hash browns and without the work of making fresh hash browns. A single carton was a normal single serving like we used to provide in the restaurant or I would be served with a decent breakfast at another restaurant. They are a convenience.

What buy frozen?!
So easy, convenient. Store in closet/pantry means no frozen packs taking up freezer room. Tastes great.
