I got these to replace the original ollllddd ones in my pass-thru bathroom doors. They feel really sturdy and the black matte is really nice. Install went without issue and I did it in under an hour. Price was so amazing! I could not be happier. So easy peasy. They latch down & lock perfectly & I can now use the restroom in peace without my kids strolling in like it ain't nothing LMAOHad tried a different brand first but they felt really cheap and wouldn't even fit together plus the directions made zero sense. So glad I went with these on the second & final try!

After our bathroom remodel the old varnished brass/gold pocket door stuck out like a sore thumb. We had brushed nickel throughout bathroom so we ordered this replacement locking pocket door in brushed nickel. It looks fantastic!It fit really snug after removing the old one. I had to use a rubber mallet to tap it into place once I was able to fit it onto the door. Our old locking door hardware never locked - this one locks perfectly. I am really happy with this purchase. I am going to buy another one (non locking though) for the laundry room.The only real challenge I ran into with the replacement was that the old strike plate had a stripped Phillips screw. I had to do a web search to find out how to resolve. I used a thick rubber band, put it over the head of the screw driver and firmly pushed into the stripped screw and was able to remove it.CONSOnce in place it didn’t fit exactly where the other did and went in so snug it splintered the wood a little (see photos). Not a big deal to me though, I will clean this up and paint the door so it looks brand new.

The door lock will not fit if installation instructions are followed. After cut out of the door per instructions the lock mechanism protrudes and will not fully seat. I drilled a 3/4 inch hole 1/4 inch deep 1 inch down from the top of the door cutout. This gave enough relief for the lock to fit in the door and for the locking mechanism to work. A chisel could be used to provide relief also. The lock itself was good. I would have given 5 stars if instructions had been correct. Installation itself was not difficult otherwise, but I had to return another day to complete the job because of faulty instructions.

I updated my old brass door handles for black throughout the home and this was a perfect fit. Super easy to install took 3 minutes. Feels & looks like good quality. Locks and had a small pop out handle.

The lock on our old fixture was not staying locked. Upon taking it apart, I found that the thin piece of sheet metal with two notches (once on each end) that is inside the mechanism and is meant to hold the lock hook down, had broken in two pieces. I measured all dimensions of my existing lock hardware mechanism and compared to the dimension diagram of this lock mechanism. It seemed to be an exact match of my current mechanism so I ordered one and it did turn out to be an exact match. The installation was a breeze. Very happy with the product, literature, and outcome. I actually ordered a spare as I have two pocket sliders and it one ever goes bad again, I do not have to research again as I spent time at various other hardware and home improvement stores looking for a drop in replacement.

Needed to replace non locking hardware on closet door due to puppy getting in and eating shoes. Easy install and work as described!

Unfortunately in my house the holes for the sliding doors were made for this type of lock . They are a just a bad designed, latch is very small it locks by a hair with a hard pull they will unlock. If you don’t have to replace old locks , I will recommend not using this type .

Easy to open/install. Fits perfectly and matches the color of other lock. Good value for the price.

Installed on electrical room that barn closet slides over. Great fit.
