Great substrate for snail habitat
Bought this for my daughter’s garden snail terrarium and it’s perfect! The texture holds moisture well without getting soggy, and it’s easy to clean and refresh. I love that it’s organic and safe for her snails. They seem to love burrowing in it. Will definitely repurchase when we need more!

Moss for snails, etc
When I received it, it didntook like much in the package. I cut it in half and put it in water. OMG. It just grew to much more than I needed. Rehydrate small amounts at a time. A little goes a long way. Good luck.

Snails preferred substrate
I've noticed my snails behave what might be more naturally with this versus the coconut core. They seemed to avoid the coconut. With this substrate they actually burrow down into it, which seems more natural. Soak it a with water in a large Ziploc bag and it expands dramatically. For a substrate I'm sticking with this.
