Make sure you definitely want them
The hold backs are fine themselves but are the wrong colour gold for me.I would like to return them but you have to pay the postage yourself to send back to the USA.Make sure you definitely want them as super annoying to try and send back

Does the job nicely
I purchased these to hold back my curtains that cover my patio door. The style matches my drapery rod and it was a perfect match. They were really easy to install....just two screws and that's it! They are nice and solid and long enough to hold my fairly thick curtains back. Go ahead and buy them, you won't regret it.

Great price on overstock item
I purchased the 28"-149" rod, is an overstock item half price. Exact same rod as shorter ones, but with extra optiinal segments that you don't have to use if you don't need them that long. Give stars because they price is exceptional, and quality is very good for half off. The mounting hooks are really nice and sturdy, much better than the typical curtain rod. I may go to the hardware store to upgrade the wall anchors... this thing will hold weight. The satin finish is nice, and all components are metal, no plastic decorative ends, which I appreciate. The segments screw together tightly, with one exception. There is one telescoping segment on the end, by which you can exactly adjust your rod length. It has a plastic gasket that is supposed to hold it securely in place, BUT the one I received does not hold it firmly. Once I settle on my length, I'll add some additional gasket material to hold it in place much better. That poorly executed gasket is the one design flaw that I see. Scrutiny else is good. But at this price point ($11.50 per rod), I really don't mind. I definately recommend this costly product. Looks pretty nice and modern, clean design, easy to assemble. Love saving the money, as i needed to cover quite a few windows.
