I bought this Cable Matters 4K@240Hz Right Angle DisplayPort 1.4 Adapter because my monitor’s DisplayPort cable was hitting the wall when mounted. This adapter solved the problem perfectly. The build quality feels solid — no cheap plastic or loose fit. The gold-plated connectors slide in firmly and provide a tight, stable connection. I’m running a 4K monitor at 240Hz, and there’s zero signal loss or flicker. The picture stays clean, and performance hasn’t dropped at all. I used to have the lower bend radius of my monitor’s Display Port cable hanging down below the display’s frame. Really would take away from the clean look of my desk setup. I took the time to cable manage and hide everything, but this one cable was beyond my control to easily hide until now. Adaptor plugged in easily and feels secure and of good quality. The Display Port cable plugged right in without issue and was the orientation I expected. My monitor is 4k but only 120hz, so I can’t say for sure if it works up to 240hz as advertised. I haven’t seen any image quality issues, refresh rate is unaffected, HDR and the color profile seems to still be spot on. No issues and it was very reasonably priced for a brand I know and trust.

Great cable adapter for my Displayport 1.4 that I use on my pc, this has helped take the stress gravity is taking on my cable due to the way I have it setup. Performs well and the fit is perfect, and make sure you know what side the little corner cut out you need as they sell a flipped version of this as well. No sacrifice in quality or durability here, very nicely made and is a very trusted and reputable cable brand. Won't break your bank or your cables either.

This works perfect on my 4k @165hz oled monitor. No issues whatsoever. I dont notice a loss in quality. Gsync still works, audio, etc.

Seems to work fine. Doesn’t like the unbranded cable I have and wiggles loose sometimes on the pc but no real problems. It does stick out farther than I hopped so it is snug against my monitor arm.

My cable was sticking out the bottom of my monitor and I wanted a cleaner appearance. I bought this, mixed it in and now I can't see the cable sticking out the bottom. It works as expected, so I'm officially happy.

Problem: Cable was sticking out the back of the monitor like a sore thumb. Solution: This right angle adapter to "flatten" out the back. No noticeable change in picture quality, so I think it works fine. (Used to connect M5 MacBook Air to 4k LG monitor.)

It works as expected and gets the job done, but it’s nothing special. The connection is stable most of the time, although the build quality feels average. It’s fine for basic use, but I wouldn’t call it premium. There are probably better options available at a similar price point.

The direction of the plug is in the wrong way the female side is in the upper side
