Must-have accessory
These earplugs work surprisingly well, making rides more enjoyable (especially on highways). They do block out wind noise and at the same time do not block music/voice from the speakers. The only thing is I wish they were a tiny-bit bigger ;)

Bought for shooting, re-buying for daily use!
I'm actually buying my second pair of these right now. I bought them to wear under my earmuffs at the gun range, but I now carry them daily. These are great for shooting. On a hunt, they're perfectly sufficient by themselves and allow you to easily talk with the rest of the party and listen to the environment. On the range, they are perfect under a pair of muffs to finish canceling out that last bit of noise. I was really pleased with these for all of my firearms activities. However, as soon as I bought them, I ended up pulling them out several times a week. They take the edge off of all kinds of machinery, and have saved my ears from ringing when using an industrial carpet cleaner, a lawn mower, and all manner of carpentry equipment. When I started taking woodworking classes, I ended up just putting these on my keyring, because they allow me to easily talk to other students and the instructor while using the saws and sanders. The only reason I have to buy a new pair now is that I lost one. If I hadn't been lazy and had put them in the tube instead of my pocket, I think they would have lasted for years more.

Much better than foam
These ear plugs provide good hearing protection. I find them much easier and quicker to insert than foam plugs. I have never liked foam plugs, I would follow the directions for use but it would take me forever to get them to fit well. I'd roll, insert, wait for expansion only to start over again because they were not blocking out the noise. With these, I can put them in and start working with power tools, leaf blowers, or go riding on our 4 wheeler immediately. The only problem I have with these are the stem, I feel it is too short, making them difficult to remove.

Best earplugs for shooting
I first started using nonoise on my motorcycles. They worked so well there I decided to try them for shooting. These are great. For most pistols they provide all the protection I need, for rifles layering them with an ANR headset provides all the protection you could want. And they allow normal speaking to carry through. So you can clearly hear your shooting mates speaking at a conversational volume. They’re comfortable & easy to put in & get out. These are an essential part of my range bag with another set next to my bedside firearm.

They do exactly what they say, perfect
Absolutely amazing. I'm an ice hockey goalie, and I bought these to keep pucks to the helmet from deafening me. I hope i could still hear ice noise and my teammates talking to me.To my absolute shock, they work fabulously. I can hear my team all the way from the bench clear as day, and I can barely tell I have them in. They're even comfortable under my helmet for 90 minutes straight. Very easy to remove. And they really dampen loud sounds like hits to my helmet.I'll be buying more for sure.

No better than foam plugs
These are no better than foam ear plugs. I bought them after reading the reviews. Walking at an outdoor range, they were inadequate to shield from the percussions of rifles and pistols. They are good supplemental protection under your ear muff protectors . They worked well at a concert and the little case is handy. As a stand alone protection for someone who shoots weekly at least 200 rounds , no.

keeps the noise of gunfire down nicely
I use these when I shoot black powder (guns and cannons). They are very comfortable and really do protect your ears from the "boom" of loud guns. They do noticeably mask other noises like talking as well (though not as bad as muffs that cover the whole ear). I also wear protective glasses and these do not interfere at all, which is also nice. And they come with a nice aluminum case to keep then in, which is great, because I keep them attached to my belt, so they are always there. Overall, a good quality item.

Great for Travelers, Frequent Hotel stays
These are pretty cool ear plugs. The are soft and maneuver well in the ear, creating a snug fit. These are probably the best I have used. One caveat though. You might find them difficult to remove. Once in your ear, you have a small plastic piece that protrudes from the ear that you must grab to pull them out. I have had to get tweezers before due to big hands:)
