The only reason that I gave this 4 stars is that there are only 100 pieces. You cannot build all of the things in the ad pictures with just one set.This is an excellent learning toy. I am an adult. I have never used a set like this, but I am familiar with magnets. I had some trouble getting started with my vehicle build. Luckily, this set comes with a pamphlet of build ideas. The flat designs are much easier to create. I was able to make a box once I realized that the pieces are not going to line up perfectly. They have magnets in them, so they go where they want. You can see in some of the images that the pieces are next to rather than on top of others. That is why I call this a thinking/learning activity. You have to think about how to place each piece to make the magnets work together. I knocked my project over multiple times due to polarity mistakes.This set is great for kids and adults. It will really make the user practice perseverance and problem solving skills at first! This is also good for fine motor skill development.I would recommend this set for anyone over 3. It would be especially useful in schools with all ages. You could also use this in daycares, senior care facilities, waiting room play areas, and at home.

The media could not be loaded. If you have kids that need to be indoors, and you don't want them to be on the electronics, this is the answer. This is wonderful with one child or many friends, this will keep them enjoying their time building and learning. They learn to work together, planning and inventing new ideas from each other. These are very safe, and almost indestructible. The magnets are safely enclosed inside the block. You can never have to many, but this is a nice amount.
