Tommee Tippee Twist & Click Nappy Bin Odour & Germ Protection

I'll be honest, I wasn't going to bother getting a nappy bin because I couldn't see the point. But got this as a free gift with the Amazon Baby Wishlist and it's been a godsend. Holds 2-4 weeks of nappies at a time (depending on how much baby is producing!) and contains the smell almost completely. There's only been one time in three months that there's been any odor emanating from it, and that was during a heatwave. In comparison, the normal bin we use in the bedroom smells constantly. Bin itself is really nice quality and doesn't stain or discolour like cheaper plastic might. One refill bag more or less fills the bin, though you're really shoving the nappies in there towards the end. We've been using third-party refill bags as the branded ones are expensive. There's a bit of a knack to fitting them, but well worth it to save the money. My only suggestions for improvement are that it would be nice to have different colour options and a larger size available, as sometimes it's a little irritating to have to bend down to put a nappy in the bin. But overall very happy.

It’s a reliable and effective solution for managing nappy waste, and the odour control is exceptional. A great investment for any parent looking for a cleaner, more convenient way to dispose of nappies.

I was a bit sceptical about buying this after reading reviews saying it was a waste of money and that a normal bin would do the job just as well. However, after using it for around 3 months, I can honestly say I’m glad we bought it. It’s a good size and holds plenty of nappies before needing to be emptied. Changing the cassette and adding a new bag can be a bit of a faff, but for me it’s worth it because it does a great job of keeping the smell contained. In fact, I only really notice the smell when I open it to empty the bin, which tells me it’s doing exactly what it’s supposed to! It doesn’t look bad either, so it doesn’t stand out in the nursery. Overall, I’d definitely recommend it if you’re on the fence. It’s not essential, but it’s a purchase I’m pleased we made.

Annoyingly good at trapping smells. I wanted this to not live up to the hype but unfortunately it is very good at trapping in smells, even particularly bad ones. I know the refills are expensive etc but unfortunately so far this has been worth it

We got this nappy bin free with our baby gift list, and it’s been really useful. The twist-and-click system seals each nappy well, keeping smells and germs contained, which is a big help with frequent changes. It’s easy to set up and fits nicely in our nursery. Great for night changes too since it keeps things tidy. The only downside is that the official refills are quite expensive. To save money, we use other bags to refill it, and that works fine. Overall, a handy and hygienic nappy bin, but be aware refills can get pricey.

We have a couple of these bins for our newborn daughter to allow for changes in the house (of which there are many!). The bins have been amazing for containing the smell and isolating the nappies from our normal household bins. They hold quite a lot before they need emptying and the refills go far. One refill has lasted almost 2 weeks for us so far. They are discreet enough to fit into the household and are extremely practical. Would recommend for any new parent!

Very poor. When unpacking it seemed the material of the bin compartment was of different quality to the top, then, the top would not fit on the bottom compartment at all! Shoddy quality. At least it was easy to return straight away.

Seem ok , but one came not working

There's not much to say, the product arrived quickly and is of good quality, exactly as described. I took advantage of the Black Friday promotion and paid only €16.

Con questo sistema abbiamo finalmente trovato una soluzione efficace. Il meccanismo Twist & Click permette di avvolgere e isolare ogni pannolino, limitando molto la fuoriuscita dei cattivi odori. Nell’utilizzo quotidiano la differenza rispetto a un normale cestino si sente eccome. È semplice da utilizzare e molto pratico da avere vicino alla zona cambio. Per la nostra esperienza, uno di quegli acquisti che sembrano superflui finché non si iniziano a usare: poi diventa difficile farne a meno.

La poubelle Twist and Shake Tommee Tippee est un vrai atout au quotidien. Elle scelle parfaitement les odeurs grâce à son système de fermeture à plusieurs couches, ce qui rend la chambre de bébé beaucoup plus agréable. Le format est compact, elle est simple à manipuler d’une seule main, et le sac se change facilement sans contact direct avec les couches sales. Son design est sobre et s’intègre bien dans une chambre de bébé. Points forts : excellente gestion des odeurs, maniabilité pratique, installation des sacs rapide.
