Pixie Lott Paint Wash-Out Hair Colour, Violet

I'm pretty sure this dye is now well out of date. There is absolutely no violet colour in this hair product. When I first started buying this a few years ago it left a nice darkish purple hue in my hair but the last batch of 4 that I bought are completely useless. Not only didn't they leave any violet tone but my hair was left very dry with a dirty brown colour in it. I have a feeling this is very old stock. They've got a real cheek selling this rubbish. Please avoid!

I used this hair colouring, along with Hiawii and Sorbet to create the most amazing colour it came out a creamy blueish purple with fine pink highlights. I have never had so many compliments, from all sexes and all ages from very young teenage girls to elderly ladies like myself ( I am in my late 7O's) this lasted over about 4 years and I never got fed up telling people I use Pixie Lott paints. But alas they have stopped making the Hawaii colour and it has been a year now since I Have been able to re-do it. I have tried other brands, but they do not work the magic and I have not had a compliment for ages bring back HAWAII plse!

If you are looking for a hint of colour or a tint, then this product might suit.My hair is naturally grey so i was expecting slightly better coverage. Picture shows my hair, having left the colour on for 30 minutes and definitely looks more pink rather than violet (or purple). I don't think I'll be buying this particular brand of hair colour again.

I read the negative reviews and assumed those people hadn’t followed the instructions.I followed the instructions to the letter. I have white/blonde hair, which is my natural hair colour and so lilac or pink hair colourant usually has a good effect.This one made no difference whatsoever. I may as well have not bothered. I don’t know how you can tell if the colour is out of date because there isn’t a date on it or the box.Just a waste of money and effort.

Product was out of date.I got 4 bottles, two purple and two pink £24 it came too.The bottles were out of date 2014 and 2018 and the hair dye was pure water and stained everything in sight. I’m gutted as this was a treat to me self and I couldn’t even use it. My only pietism is to return but I can’t return as I’ve binned cause they were so bad. I’ve got pictures
