Extremely impressed with this little beauty. I recently purchased a Ninja coffee machine and struggled to get the right flow of coffee, working blind not knowing the output weight. Bought this as the reviews were very good plus it fits onto the drip tray perfectly. It has an auto timer that starts with the first drip of coffee and very stable weight readout. I didn't want to go too cheap or expensive and thought this was a good price. Im very impressed with the quality and so far no problems. Would recommend

Great product, automatic timer function works fantastically making dialling in coffee much easier. Fits on Ninja Luxe espresso machines easily due to its small size. This really helps making the perfect espresso! Easily fit a large cappuccino mug on top while espresso is being made. Easy to use easy and to clean. So far so good ! Light weight. Display is clear to see while standing up. Compared to other products, I’d say this is value for money and is a much more popular brand compared to timemore in the UK.

The ideal way to ensure your espresso output is as accurate as can be. We are single dosing 18g of beans then using this to ensure we achieve 36g of espresso whilst also monitoring the time and adjusting accordingly to achieve the 36g in around 30 seconds. It works nicely and really gives you the stats you need to help dial the machine in correctly. Being able to focus on the weight of the pour rather than the time was a great help to us. It comes with an anti slip mat too in order to enhance stability. In order to achieve 36g you need to stop the coffee machine when this ready about 34g because there is the tiniest delay whilst a gram or 2 is still mid air having left the machine and not reached the cup yet. This is been very useful though. Fits nicely in the pour tray of our Sage Barista Express and I would definitely advise buying one if you’re a coffee snob like me.

Nice and low profile, has a timer and scale

Amazing scale’s absolutely game changer as if you have a sage the first 7 seconds of a shot pull you are priming the pump so you do not get a true pull, this scale will weight and time from the second the shot hits the glass for a perfect 25 to 30 second shot at 36 grams… brilliant Latte art is easy now.

Excellent coffee scales for the price battery life is also very good so far haven’t had to charge it after 2 weeks!

Finally perfectly stable seats on Gaggia Classic. Not wobbling just seating there!!!

Bascula de espresso con batería recargable. Hasta 2kg, 0,01g de precisión, de tamaño compacto. Entra perfectamente en mi cafetera hibrew, es bastante plana por abajo y no se menea sobre la bandeja. Tiene temporizador con modo automático. Los dígitos se ven claramente y es bastante sencilla de usar. Me gustaría que tuviera una precisión de 0,01g, pero para el uso que se le va a dar la que tiene es suficiente. Veremos lo que dura la batería.

TLDR: Buy it. It works well, it has impressive and useful features, it looks great, it’s thin/low-profile, and it’s a great price. Detailed review: I’m very happy with this scale, and it has certainly upped my espresso game by leaps and bounds. I’m able to weigh my beans very precisely down to a tenth of a gram (roughly the weight of a single bean), so my dosing is on point. Also, it fits beneath the portafilter with room to spare for my cup, so I can weigh my shots and accurately measure my input/output ratio. And automatic mode is magic! When the espresso hits the cup, the timer starts running, so I can measure flow rate along with everything else! Overall, super easy to use and very necessary for the at-home barista. One caveat: It acted weird on the 2nd or 3rd day, and I thought I was going to have to return it. The weight would slowly creep up even though I wasn’t adding any coffee. I dusted it off, made sure it was dry, set it on a more stable surface… I still don’t know what the matter was, but it stopped freaking out and it hasn’t really given me any trouble since. Also, I should mention that the automatic function doesn’t always work 100% perfectly; it works, and usually works quite well, but depending on the flow rate, you might get some drops dribbling into the cup and the timer not detect it right away. (I think the timer must be activated according to some sort of algorithm that looks for a certain increase in a certain amount of time, so a slower initial drip rate might not trigger it at first.) Also weirdly, it seems like about half of the time when the weight stops increasing (i.e., espresso stops flowing) , the timer pauses (as I think it’s supposed to do), but other times, the timer keeps running until you manually stop it. I don’t know… It’s a weird glitch, I guess, but it doesn’t really make any difference. The weight is accurate, and that’s the primary thing to keep an eye on. So, is it perfect? No, I guess not. But, it works extremely well and functions perfectly for my purposes. In fact, it’s a lot nicer and fancier than I expected – plus, it’s more affordable and more streamlined than its obvious rival the Acacia.

This is a neat piece of kit and does the job well. Combines weight and time neatly and has options to suit many circumstances.

Die Kaffeewaage ist für eine Cappuccino Tasse groß genug. Sie ist so klein, dass man sie relativ gut unter eine E 61 B Brühl Gruppe stellen kann. Die Funktion ist wirklich gut und funktioniert insbesondere sobald der erste Tropfen in die Tasse läuft. Die Alarmtöne sind ein bisschen laut, aber die kann man auch ausstellen. Die Oberfläche ist geschlossen und bietet dadurch keine Angriffsfläche für Dreck Wasser etc. Das Gewicht wird exakt gemessen. Wann ist doch erstaunt, wie schnell die angepeilte Wassermenge beim Espresso erreicht wird. Das ist auf jeden Fall präziser, als über die reine Laufzeit zu gehen. Über die Akkulaufzeit kann ich noch keine Aussagen machen.

Started calorie counting and needed something that could measure very small quantities for oils and sauces as they are often the most calorie dense foods. I’m happy to have this scale that is alot more precise than a generic one I bought in stores. Worth it if you want more accuracy!
