These cuttable light strips are a good solution for lighting in unusual angles or tight spaces like the underside of a cabinet, accent lighting for a gaming desk, or even for non-UVA/UVB lighting inside a terrarium when properly secured. The setup is as simple as Hue always is and the brightness is, if anything, a bit excessive. It works VERY well, though the adhesive backing can be a pain to get off.

Love this lightstrip - the only thing I dislike is the adhesive pad is not strong enough to hold 16 ft of lightstrip. Even with proper surface cleaning, it will eventually fall off. But the light itself is awesome. I've been having fun playing with the Hue Sync to have it change lighting with music videos, movies and especially games. Great product. Awesome range of colors and brightness. I would buy another strip even though I don't need it to link it and go across another wall.

Most reliable and best color gradients as usual. Connected to existing Hue hub at home. They are perfect for an amazing light show in the pool enclosure.

I recently got a larger 77” LG OLED tv and installed this for backlighting. The process was very easy and it looks great. As a precaution I did add extra adhesive strips at the corners where I made small loops to change directions (thanks to a YT video for the suggestion to use make loops). The app is very easy to use and has lots of options.

In short, this light strip is expensive but it offers a good level of brightness (1700 lumens) and vibrant, accurate colors. I’m using it for indirect uplighting on a shelf in my living room so I don’t need to worry about “hotspots” or diffusing the LEDs. The ability to adjust colors and brightness through the app as well as through my numerous Echo Dots is the main selling point for me. I use Alexa routines and a Hue dimmer switch to control it, and have had no issues. That said, the adhesive backing is a bit underwhelming. It didn’t stick as securely as I expected, and I had to use additional adhesive strips to keep it in place. Also, the price is on the higher side compared to other LED strips, especially when factoring in the need for a Hue Bridge for full functionality. I have already bought into the Hue ecosystem pretty extensively so I was prepared for this but if you haven’t, it might be worth going with a cheaper alternative. Overall, it’s a high-quality product with great lighting effects, but the adhesive and cost are worth considering before purchasing.

These are great when they work. However when you have a portion of the system break (I had the converter fail twice) you cannot get replacement parts and will need to buy another whole system. In my case two 33ft led strips for another 350 dollars. Not fun having to buy the entire system twice due to Phillips making changes to the led strips. I would recommend to avoid this product and go with a much cheaper option that way when it fails you won’t be stuck paying full price again.

The 33 foot led philips hue is the perfect size for a King Size bed frame, can do the entire underside of the frame with enough left over to go across the head board. Stickiness is holding, so far so good, but you can purchase inexpensive anchors if it falls off. App was easy to pair with device. Some of the automation features are behind a paywall though or may require an additional device. More expensive than other brands, but want to risk cheaper imported brands for this project and it pairs with Google/alexa ecosystem.

Product itself is nice, reliable, and is a little difficult to connect at first but once connected is nice & easy to use. The colors are great. If you are getting a single LED strip with zero customization (i.e. no cutting or splitting) this is a great but expensive set. The app is also good which is saying something. The colors are also very nice, better than cheap LED strips I've gotten. So for single LED strips as-is, no changes except to remove & throw away extra, this is a great (but expensive) product. Even on sale it's still more expensive than most. DO NOT BUY IF YOU WANT TO CUT DOWN TO SIZE FOR SOMETHING CUSTOM, such as a bookcase. Use a cheaper brand and just daisy chain them or a brand that has off the shelf connectors & adapters for splitting. Why this is bad for customization: 1 - You can't buy additional controllers for splitting a light strip, so if you accidentally bought too long a strip, THROW IT OUT because Philips won't let you use that for anything else, you need to buy a whole new kit. 2 - many off brand LED light strips and even the older versions of this product (such as the Hue V2) have more accessories for customization such as connectors to create gaps, 90deg corners, etc.. I have waited over a year for more options and there are zero. No adapters except for bad ones and/or 3rd party vendors that say it'll work but it won't. Working with this has been a nightmare. I bought these because I was expecting a product like that allowed you to customize things and create your own environment with LEDs that are all connected - but no, I was unfortunately very misled by their marketing.

Have several Hue lights. This light strip is terrific on the stairs at night. Love that I can choose the colour and set the timer )need the hub for that). Really like these products.

Es una tira muy rígida y la calidad del led no es la mejor, no se ve como una luz continua, el halo de luz se separa
