Cheaper and nastier than the old MB1000
We use a set of six MB1000 mics in our band. They're tough and half the price of Shures. After nearly ten years we smashed one completely so I ordered an MB1K as a direct replacement. Duh. There's no rubber mount inside so you get more handling noise. The switch has a less positive action so the mic doesn't always come ON properly - embarrassing when you're halfway through a number and the audience are pointing at you. The sound is pretty much the same but I wish I'd spent another £20 on the next model up.

Für unter 40 Euro habe ich keine Wunder erwartet, nach mehreren Probeaufnahmen war ich doch relativ "überrascht" über den ziemlich neutralen Klang! Ich glaube, die Kompensation des Nahbesprechungseffektes kann man bei diesem Modell als intensiv beschreiben, sofern man noch ein paar Zentimeter Abstand hält. Für Sprachaufnahmen mit diesem Mic benötigt man einen Preamp mit einer angemessenen Verstärkung, bei einem im Interface integrierten Vorverstärker muss bzw. kann man ansonsten die Lautstärke nach der Aufnahme anpassen.
