Worked better than expected!
I was pleasantly surprised how well this microphone performed at a wedding. So for this reason i will break my review down to 3 things: how it worked compared to other wired mics, battery life, and who is it for. 1. How it compares: It sounds just as good as my Sennheiser e 835 and actually provided less feedback than that mic. I was pleasantly surprised that at times you could have the mic pretty close to the speakers and with minimal to no feedback. The venue was for about 150 people and it covered the whole dance floor without cutting out which was about 60 - 100 ft in distance. I had read some reviews that it can have interference or drop outs but i did not experience any. However this may change in other venues where there may be more interference. 2. Battery Life: As for the battery life, the receiver did well with a 4 -5 hour event. Keep in mind that I forgot to charge it as I did not charge it out of the box. I had only used it 2 short occasions before to test it out. I had some cheap Kirkland batteries from Costco on the mic itself which they still worked great. I would recommend that you don't cheap out on the AA batteries for the microphone and get some good ones. 3. Who is this for?: I would highly recommend this mainly for karaoke where reliability is not important. I would also recommend it for the small DJ who already has a wired mic and is looking for a cheap wireless upgrade. I would even recommend for the small band or duo that has all their gear on stage with them. However, I would not recommend this for large bands and the well established dj's with bigger equipment (you can probably afford something better). With any wireless system I would still recommend to always have a wired backup. Keep also in mind that other reviews mention durability being a issue. I have only had this for a short period of time, but the item still looks and feels solid to me. Due to sound quality, I am looking to making an upgrade to another Tonor wireless system that has a bigger receiver some day.

Great
This secondary microphone serves as an excellent complement to my JBL Party Box. While it may not match the sound quality of the JBL microphone, it is still quite comparable. Additionally, it is offered at a very reasonable price.

This Wireless Microphone Is Perfect For Performing Like A Rockstar!
INTRO: I selected this wireless microphone to use with a portable PA speaker for occasional karaoke parties. I have 25+ years of experience in the technology field and vast experience reviewing tech gadgets as well as accessories that go with them. PROS: This product is quality-made and features a premium Pro-audio look, feel, and weight. The audio transmitted by the microphone to the receiver is clear and clean. I didn’t experience static, dropouts, or noise interference when I used it within its working range and took the best frequency at the time into consideration. When testing the range of this microphone, I was able to maintain a connection with the receiver approximately 5-6 houses down the block from where I had the speaker and receiver set up (see attached photo of me at the maximum working distance). I had a friend near the speaker give me a visual thumbs up or down to let me know the status of my connection. When he alerted me that the signal dropped out, I was able to use the button inside the battery compartment to switch to a better frequency, which corrected the problem, up until I hit the maximum possible working distance. I like that an anti-drop ring is included which helps mitigate the smooth microphone from slipping through your hand when holding it. It also mitigates the microphone from rolling away when placed on a flat surface. It easily slides on and off if you prefer the look without it, or if you want to use the mic with a microphone stand. CONS: The instruction manual has errors and omissions — for example, the diagram for the receiver incorrectly swaps the labels for the signal indicator and the charging indicators. The manual also fails to mention what all the indicators on the mic’s LED screen mean. The mic cover was excessively tight and ripped while attempting to get it onto the mic head. The LED screen is difficult to see in daylight. I love that the receiver comes with a hefty rechargeable and replaceable battery that can be charged by USB-C. REVIEW SUMMARY: I like this microphone, despite its idiosyncrasies. That said, using it makes you feel like a rock star. The top things I like about it are that it looks, feels, and performs reliably like Pro-audio gear. The top things I don’t like about it are that the microphone cover was too tight and ripped when trying to squeeze it onto the mic head, the LED screen can be difficult to see outdoors, and the instruction manual is incomplete and incorrect. VERDICT: I recommend it! IMPORTANT NOTE: I spend a very lengthy amount of time using the products I review, and I often spend even longer documenting them in writing, photos, and occasionally videos, for your benefit.
