I have 6 indoor cats & wanted to use a flea treatment as a precaution - I have been using this for a year & it seems to work well.

Works great
It apparently doesn't smell , so my cat's don't freak out, plus it works better than the other name brands

Will continue using even after 1 bad experience (won’t use on her)
I have 4 cats 2 dogs. I use this on my cats and it works very well. However - My older cat, 15, is on a new medication, Felimazole, since last months treatment. Within 15 minutes of applying the drops, she began viciously vomiting and trembling, then literally foaming at the mouth. I cleaned her up, cleaned off the drops and within a half hour she was back to herself. Good product, just check before using if the cat has a new medication.

IT WORKS
This year the fleas have been horrible. I’ve used Provecta for 5 years and since the prices went up this spring I tried to switch to something cheaper. after 4 months and a horrid flea infestation we went back to Provecta. Haven’t had an issue since and I won’t be making that mistake again. If you want reliable flea control without a vet prescription, this is exactly what you need.

The money you save can go toward your vet bill.
I applied Provecta to my 9 year old tortie female. Inside of two days later, she developed a severe head tremor, so much so that I thought she was having a stroke. Her movements were uncoordinated and I truly thought she would not survive whatever was happening. My vet diagnosed Oral Toxicity, and gave her fluids and a mild sedative to ease the tremoring. I have previously always used Advantage for cats and K9 Advantix for my dogs with no ill effects. Upon researching, everything I read suggested Provecta as a good generic option. My other cat and my dogs have not had adverse reactions but seem as though the Provecta maybe isn't working--both dogs are scratching and chewing themselves as though they have insect bites. I would not recommend this to anyone ever, and would discourage anyone who asked me about purchasing it.
