My dog is a teddy bear breed. She’s 9 pounds and this whelping pen was perfect for her. She had two puppies and sadly one didn’t make it, but this little man is doing great!

This whelping pen (which is technically a doggie pool) is very sturdy and good quality! The sides stand on their own and the pool fabric is nail-resistant. The pad is soft, very absorbent, and fits the pool perfectly. It’s very easy to clean since the pool has a drain. The dimensions are accurate so it’s not a very big pool and the sides are only 8 inches high. That means this pool is best for smaller breeds and newborn pups as otherwise they could easily climb over the side.It works great as a small duck pond too. :)

Great whelping pool. I have several like it,but none that came with a blanket. This one is a little smaller than my others. It works great though bc it keeps my floors protected, the puppies protected, and it's easily cleaned. The blanket fits in it perfectly and is soft and easily washed. I recommend this pool.
