Incredible value, exactly what I needed!
Very clear video with excellent quality day and night vision! Also love that it has live video as well. We've been wondering what kind of critters have been visiting out food scrap pile and we've seen birds, armadillos, racoons, possums and even a pair of coyotes! It seems to be well made, is very easy to set up and even comes with an SD card installed. I really can't recommend this enough.

So far, so good. Better than the last one we tried
ETA **** that once we watched the video included with this item (shown with picture gallery), it was easy to download the app and connect it to the camera. Very easy to use the app to adjust settings, check battery and storage and view images. If you have trouble with the app, reboot your phone. It helped us. Works great! After trying to get our last, less expensive trail camera to work consistently, I decided to try this one. We have only been using it for a couple of weeks, but so far, so good. The quality of pictures we are getting is much better than the last camera. It seems to be triggering properly and we are seeing all the wildlife that comes by during the night (we have it set to only take pics at night). I liked that this camera came with everything we needed, including batteries. The only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is because we haven't figured out the bluetooth/wireless yet (and I realize it doesn't connect to our home wifi). We are both pretty tech savvy, but it's not super obvious how to get it to work. This is minor though and I'm sure we'll figure out soon. We haven't invested a lot of effort into that part yet. I will upgrade to 5 stars if it turns out it was easier than we thought. LOL

Good Camera with issues that I could resolve myself
This is a VERY good product—excellent picture quality! The sensitivity is great, it automatically records when it detects motion, it connects well, I think I have it as far away as I can and get good connection from about 30 feet away. The lag is minimal and I love being able to check for critters when I see them! The reason my review is 4 stars and not 5 is because there is a pretty steep learning curve. The camera comes with a memory card and batteries, but after 1 day I started having problems with the camera not recording, saying the memory card wasn’t in there right, etc. I bought new batteries and installed a new memory card and it has been working great since then! So I love this camera (please see the hilarious picture that goes along with this review), but I needed to buy some extras to make it work. I would recommend buying it, but be prepared to have to trouble shoot some things!

You get what you pay for & buyer beware!
This is SUPER cheaply made. I purchased a couple of trail cameras (different manufacturers) to put up in my trees. When I got this one, I was going off the images that showed the color of the camera (I wanted it to match, not stand out like a sore thumb), and it looks exactly like the pictures. So at first glance, I was pleased. However, upon opening the box and removing the user manual (gotta make sure I do the initial setup correctly), I began noticing "issues". When I purchase products, I expect if coming from a majority of companies that do manufacturing, I expect a reasonable about of expectations. For instance, manuals should be worded proper. Not everyone is inclined to being naturally able to setup equipment, especially digital equipment. (DON'T JUST ME, just hear me out as I am very good at setting up these types of things. I don't & was never rushing the setup process) So it starts off saying "insert 4 or 8 aa batteries". Um, huh?! So I grab 8 new batteries, just in case. (already losing confidence in this.. BUT, maybe this is one of those manuals that "apply to several releases of this mfr's cameras". I'll continue) I follow the manual and see MANY errors in grammar, losing more faith.. And then the cheapy, flimsy battery housing tray. NIGHTMARE. It has notches that stop the tray twice before fully removing from the camera unit. I get to the last row which holds the final 2 batteries, and the tray pops out & the last 2 batteries fly out of my hands (I was more concerned about NOT dropping anything that was part of the camera. Still can't find 1/2 batteries). Once I reached this point, I realized if this thing is going to be THIS big of a pain to just get the batteries installed (God forbid the day it needs to all be replaced), I finally say I have had enough. There's that joke "how many blondes to screw in a light bulb", well I'm NOT okay with feeling duped by a plastic battery tray. And I surely have NO DESIRE to keep this & wait to do the "replace the old batteries with fresh new ones", so thank you for a cute looking camera (only the front half is that Grey camo print. The back half is a sand brown), and while the Grey camo design matches my trees perfectly, I do not wish to be tasked with the future battery change nightmare that I know will be waiting if I keep this. Cute looking, but not practical for someone like me. You will get what you pay for with this, but you will also be asked to download an app to access the images. Sure, that doesn't sound so bad EXCEPT the app the company wants you to download on your phone asks you to enable BOTH Bluetooth as well as your GPS. But wait, here's the best part, they also want you to configure the app on our phone to "allow app to access your location even when app is not in use". Hmm.. Phones technically already have trackers built-in to them, but now I need to download an app that can track me around town or while I'm traveling? Yeah, no thanks!! A+ for effort with regard to the app you need to put on your phone if you want to use your phone to access the camera. I see where this is going before leaving the station! Not happening! Everything is right back in the box as it came & going right back. So if you want a cheap camera that might/might not work (depending on the signal on your phone or computer) that is created by a company who runs an app that will track your phone's every move regardless if you're looking at the cameras pictures & has THE WORST battery holding tray next to that board game "Operation", then this is a well rounded camera for you. But if you want none of these, get a different mfr's camera. Spare yourself the nightmare of needing to replace the batteries & being tracked (with your permission that is) on your phone by who knows who even when you're not checking your trail camera. You get what you pay for!

Great price. Easy to use. Functions as adversized. Good video. Good phone app. Good night vision.
Executive Summary: This camera does everything we want it to do at a very reasonable price. Note that our use case it NOT putting it outside to track animals See below for details... Our use case: My wife is sleep walking a lot at night. We need to know what food she is eating in her sleep and what medicines she is taking. We set this camera up in the kitchen and used the "work hours" feature to have the camera record movement in the kitchen only during the night time. So far this has worked great. This camera was very easy to set up. Load up the mobile app and we connected to the camera in a jiffy. The settings were very easy to understand and we had it configured quickly to shoot 10 or 20 seconds of high quality video during the hours we wanted it to be active. The night vision feature of the camera is very good. Lights on our off in the kitchen doesn't matter. We consistently get good video and we can see if she is taking medicine or eating should she not remember doing so. The motion detection is top notch. It picks up motion to the sides of the camera, even if the object moving doesn't move directly in front of the camera. While that means it is possible to trigger a recording with no one in the view of the camera, in practice that hasn't happened. This is well engineered. Some have complained that the camera keeps disconnecting from the phone app when you try to view the video. We experienced that as well. There was an easy solution: Get rid of the batteries that came with the camera and replace them with brand new, brand name batteries (we used Duracell). ALL of the disconnect issues went away. Please note that with the original batteries, the camera reported that its power level was 80%...yet it was still dropping the connection when we tried to view the videos on the phone app (you can view the videos right on the device if you want, but we always use the phone app). Get rid of the factory supplied batteries if you have that problem and your issues will probably go away. It did for us. The only thing I could point to about the camera that could be better is that playing back the videos (which I have set to the highest resolution on the camera setup) from your cell phone/the app causes the video to "buffer" a fair amount while playing it back. It is a tad annoying, but not horribly so. While I do notice it, it is not enough to detract from the value of the camera. We have a bird feeder outside and some night when we don't need to track my wife's sleep walking I intend to put the camera out by the bird feeder and see what happens during the night. All in all, I find this to be a GREAT camera for what we need it for. The description says it is very much weatherized, but thus far we haven't used it outside. Since everything else about the camera functions pretty much as advertised, I'd be VERY surprised if it did not live up to their claims. Great product. Great price. Easy to use. Does the job. Thumbs up to the manufacturer on this one!

Very good Trail Cam for the price.
This DEATTI Trail Camera performs exactly as specified and was super easy to setup. It comes with a mounting strap as well as a wall mount. Also 8 AA batteries, which I did not use, see remarks below. I have it set for max resolution and sensitivity. Very first night it picked up some deer, coyotes and raccoons. Considering the price and functionality I give it 5 stars. I highly recommend this trail cam. Using this camera with a Google Pixel 7 phone. My furthest away camera is around 150 feet away from my desk in the house. Both Bluetooth and WiFi connect without issue and transfer data without issue. Purchased two of these cameras to replace a couple of old ones that have stopped working after 10 years or so. So far, they work, and function exactly as advertised. Going through reviews they get far more positive reviews then negative and more positive reviews than most of the other cameras. Pretty sure most of the negative reviews are because of operator error. Being a Chinese product, the instruction manual is actually pretty good. Has some room for improvement but still not bad. One thing to watch for is to make sure to remove the thin clear plastic shipping protectors from the lens as well as the motion sensors. This may be why some people stated the camera took blurry photos or the motion sensors do not work. In the reviews a lot of folks stated the include batteries aren't not very good. I would have to agree. I have never had good luck with off brand supplied Chinese batteries so went directly to Duracell alkaline batteries. This is what I used in my old cameras and they lasted almost a year before needing replace. Will see how long they last in this camera. Some recommend going to Energizer lithium batteries. These are a lot more expensive so will only go there if the alkaline don't last or cause issue. Alkaline batteries don't maintain a steady voltage during their life cycle like lithium ones do, which could cause a problem with this type of camera. This camera does have functions my old one didn't they may be harder on the batteries, such a Bluetooth and WiFi. Also, never use rechargeable batteries because the voltage difference is enough to cause problems. These types of cameras are super finicky on having correct voltage. I can't stress that enough. The included 32GB SD card is a Micro-SD installed in a standard SD adapter. It seems to work just fine so far. A work of caution. Never install a high-speed SD card in this type of camera. Only use standard SD cards. This camera will not gain anything from a high-speed card and could cause it not to function at all. I have not tested a larger capacity card yet and the literature does not state what the max size is. Setup is pretty simple. Install the app on your phone. Slide the switch to the "On" position. Set the date and time. Open the app and add a camera. The camera with try to connect to both Bluetooth and WiFi. Both are required, so make sure they are enabled on your phone. The camera sets up a local WiFi hotspot so, depending on your router and phone, you should not have to enter your WiFi password. If your phone asks about giving permission, always chose yes to allows the app to function correctly. You will have access to all the pertinent settings once the app finds the camera. There are a lot of setting so you can make all the adjustments you need to get the camera to function the way you like. Close the app. The camera will calibrate the motion sensors and start taking photos and videos according to the settings you have set. Most setting are accessible through the app. But there are some only accessible from the camera. To adjust setting at the camera, slide the switch to "Set". Double click the Mode button on the camera to access the setting. !!Important!! When you are accessing the camera using the app, the camera itself is disabled and not functioning as a trail cam. You must disconnect by closing the app. Make sure the app is closed and not running in the background or the camera will not take any photos or videos. I don't know about Apple phones, but on my Google Pixel 7 phone when you download photos and videos to the phone it stores them in a directory on the phone associated with Google Photos. If you have the phone setup to sync to the cloud it will do so as soon as you open the Google Photos app on the phone. A that point you can access the photos and videos a computer or tablet through the Internet with Google Photos to view them on a larger screen or download them to your computer.

Good camera but sucks the life out of batteries
Good little trail camera. We bought 4 to watch the deer eat at our feeders. Multiple settings to select from photo only, video only or both. You can select how long between each photo/video & how long a video you want, as well as the quality of video. Videos can include sound if selected. So many features in a little camera. Star selection would have been higher if the battery life was better. I tried several different brands of batteries & depending on how busy feeding areas are the life of batteries varied from just a few days to a week. I feel it could be based on the settings I’ve selected but other cameras I’ve used had longer battery life. We’ve since added solar panels to help with battery life & it does seem to be working. The squirrels do like these as well as the other cameras I’ve had & squirrel repellent is a must to keep them from chewing the camera if you don’t want to get a protective case for it. I chose not to because I already have to completely remove the camera from the mount to replace the batteries. The angle of the camera is also important as often times I would watch a deer for 10-15 minutes & later check the video to only see it didn’t capture anything even if all the settings were correct. There’s added features when watching from your phone via the app, you can record and take video from your phone. Connecting via Bluetooth to the cameras is nice but it can be cantankerous at times.

8 year old camera on the right. Replacing with a new one.
I first bought 2 of these cameras. They are very good. The first one gave out at about 6 years and the 2nd one right at 8 years. I have bought several others and these seem to outperform any other camera for the similar price. They do like to use up batteries but go easier on the settings to help that and you still get quality pictures and videos
