Climbing This is a Five Step Process
I have been using a tall heavy-duty ladder in my garage for reaching items that are stored out of reach, but it has been cumbersome to move around, so I decided I needed something easier to access, so I ordered this HBTower step ladder. This stepstool is sleek and slim at only 4-inches wide when folded it and does not take up much room when stored in the closed position, and it weighs only 25-pounds, which I guess is heavy or light depending on your perception. I weigh 150-pounds and it is more than strong and stable enough for my weight with its 250-pound rating. Although I will say that I am surprised that ladders are being sold with such a low weight rating these days. The steps are nice and wide at nearly 8-inches wide by 12-inches long, and they have no-slip ridges on them. The steps themselves are metal with plastic inserts for traction. There are also no-slip ridged Thermo-plastic rubber feet on the bottom of the legs that are to help prevent the ladder from sliding around when in use. The ladder opens and closes easily by simply pivoting out the legs with your hands. There is a push-button behind the top step that locks the ladder in place, and you just push that button to unlock it to be able to fold it back up. The durability of that plastic button is dubious, though. The ladder arrives mostly assembled, you just need to bolt the top portion in place with the supplied bolts and tools, which just takes a couple of minutes. The bottom step is 6-inches off the ground, and each subsequent step is 10-inches above the previous one, so you get a good amount reach with this stepstool. Just be aware that there are no handrails on this ladder, so you need to use it with caution. If I have any issues with this ladder, it is that it does get a bit wobbly as I climb higher and I feel it could use a secondary set of cross braces. The welds are very narrow, and the legs seem to be very lightweight tubing. The metal for the cross braces is also quite thin and the and the connections for the steps are covered in plastic so it is hard to tell how robust those connections might be, so I question the durability of this ladder. It is a nice slim designed step ladder that will work well if you have the clearance for it and if you weigh well under 250-pounds.

Sturdy and Lightweight
Nice lightweight stepladder. It is fantastic for up to 8-10 feet jobs. I feel comfortable standing on it and it is solid with little wabble. It has a built in shelf for paint or other items. Plus a bar on top to grab for stability. Very easy to assemble and only took a couple of minutes. It folds up easily and stores in a small space.

A shorties dream!
I've had the same 2 step-stool for almost 20 years and recently we just installed a taller plant shelf that gets a bit challenging to get up to safely. Finally, I managed to get a hold of this 5 step ladder that will not only assist with that, but with diy projects all around the home! There was only a bit of assembly to lock the top handle into place, which took minutes, and up I went! This sure is a big boy, but for my 5ft body, it's pretty easy to carry around, with a light coated frame. I appreciate the texture of the steps, but they are inset plastic panels, not a bit of rubber, or silicone to help prevent from slipping if it does get wet.I greatly appreciate the fact that there is a shelf so I can easily set down plants, or tools (based on cute, suggested little graphics). Either way, this is my new buddy and I believe it could last just as long as my everyday step stool!

This is the big boy height step ladder, and it delivers on strength and function
This ladder is huge (in a good way). I have your normal step ladders, and a 'tall' cosco step ladder (probably from costco even;0). This ladder is seriously big. It adds a few feet to my former 'tall' ladder which is crazy. Can easily reach some high ceilings I couldn't before. Now the details:The good:Exceptionally heavy duty. This is not a light step ladder, if my cosco large step is 12 lbs this is closer to 25. That weight is because it is steel I don't question the 250lb weight limit it has for one minute.Has a very nice handle/rail at the top that is quite high it makes climbing up and down largely a very safe feeling thing.Narrow, other ladders are big for stability, this one is rigid allowing it to be more narrow and useful in more spots (along with being more compact).Everything is non-slip rubber/silicone like materials so you feel more stable footing wise vs plastic / aluminum ones.Easy to assemble, one nut/bolt per side to install with included tools but otherwise good to go.Nice fold action, has a release lock to not accidentally fold.Doesn't have an initial 'settling' issue when setup. Sometimes with a step ladder you fully unfold it, go and stand on it, and then it moves some amount. Often a bit scary that initial move under your weight, but after that it doesn't happen again. This one avoids that, I haven't had it make that minor jolt the first time you step on it in a new position.Tool tray is a really, really, nice touch. Being high up and having to work normally means I always need my toolbelt, even then bigger things can fall out. This has a great paint/utility tray with lots of holds/ openings/ small compartments seriously great design. Only thing I don't 100% love on it is the fact it kind of tips towards you a decent amount. I guess this is better than your can of paint falling backward.Lovely additional footspace on top step, sadly I don't love being on that one as it gets a bit too much wobble for my liking often. Still in a pinch love I can get that extra height. The maybe no so great / things to consider:If you are used to light step ladders, this is not that. I am surprised every time I grab it at how heavy it is, still easy to move but just doesn't look like it would be as beefy as it is.The top handle fold feature. I am guessing they do this to ship in a smaller box but the top handle folds up and then you install a nut/bolt combo to hold it in place (they call this their 'safety key'). Note this is not done every time you use it just once when you receive it. Sadly even tightening this way more than I feel you should there can be some minor movement in the handle front to back. While it does have a double bolt anchor one is more hinged and so the single bolt per side just cant keep it 100% secure. This is unfortunate given the size you never want to feel unstable or something to move unexpectedly. To minimize this be sure to really tighten down both the pre-installed bolt and the one you install. It is very narrow, which means at the highest position there can be some wobble. Clearly its not building materials, but just being narrow its hard to avoid that. Other ladders are wider and shorter. Still, as long as I am not on the top most step I dont generally notice any wobble it feels very steady one step down (just slightly less comfortable). As with any ladder of this style, there are no leveling feet so make sure you are using it on a level surface otherwise there will be much more severe wobble / may tip.I think its a bit crazy having some toddler standing on this thing like their photo. It is high, im not a worry person but you are prety high up and even the most talented youngster should probably not be using this.Honestly this was very close between 4 and 5 stars. I think the inability to eliminate the wobble in the handle is a bit unfortunate, I may see about adding my own additional bolts to gain further stability. For people who use it I love how stable and great it is but id like them not to have that potential surprise of being so high with a handle that slightly moves.

Folds and stores in tight spaces. Sturdy.
This 5-step ladder is about 6 feet long and comes mostly assembled. You do have to unfold the top portion and secure two bolts. Tools included. The ladder is not very wide, but wide enough to work from the top step. It does wobble slightly when not loaded, but is stable once weight is placed on it. Closing the ladder is not as smooth as I'd like as the latch is a bit fiddly. It is heavy. There is a work platform on top where you can keep tools and materials while working.Overall, it's a good ladder if you need a 5-step with tool platform.
