Bright IdeasRA1 Reflective Address Numbers (up to Five Numbers)

Wow these are wonderful! I just installed a new mailbox that the Post Office delivered to me for larger parcels. I didn't want to put an adhesive number on the mailbox that will fade and crack in the sun and make my new mailbox look bad. I have a black painted mailbox post and these numbers look GORGEOUS on the post. I love them! If they get sun damaged over time, I will scrape them off and replace them with the same thing. During the day they look like metallic gold, and at night they are very helpfully reflective (we have NO streetlights and it is very dark on our road!). I highly recommend these. I had no issues with the numbers tearing and had some time to readjust them to make them straight before they got too sticky to remove and replace. Now they seem really well stuck on. Have had 2 good rainstorms and so far so good!

I DEFINITELY have the best mailbox numbers on my street. I have a forest green mailbox and the numbers are very large and work great in daylight but I absolutely LOVE the way they reflect light at night. The only drawback is that you need a steady hand and a good eye and apparently I don’t have either. I bought 2 sets, one for each side of my mailbox. I had a bit of trouble applying the first 2 numbers on one side. The glue is really, REALLY sticky so you need to be careful. After I finished that side, I noticed the first 2 numbers were very crooked so I went back to try and correct them. Unfortunately, the glue holds so well that I ripped the first number. I managed to piece it back together on the mailbox and it looks like it was never ripped. OK, so the first 2 numbers are crooked but at least you can see them. Once I got the hang of it, the second set went on perfectly and straight! I might see about replacing at least the first number because it ripped but overall I cannot say enough about these reflective address numbers. I love how I can see them from a distance away. It's so cool to see how bright they look at night when headlights hit them. Do you need to replace your address numbers at the street level? Then you MUST get these! You won't be disappointed.UPDATE - Customer Service is AWESOME!!! They are going to send me 2 replacement numbers for the 2 numbers that I messed up. Seriously, how many companies would do that? I LOVE this seller and these numbers and I am so happy I made this purchased!

I like these but don't love them on my mailbox. I am used to address numbers on my mailbox that are black with a white reflective background - very visible daytime but only slightly reflective at night.So, I gave the bright ideas a try. I'd say they are much more reflective at night but at the expense of some daytime visibility depending on perhaps your mailbox color. My mailbox is a light grey and the regular black numbers stood out well in daytime. The bright ideas are decently visible but don't stand out like that in daytime.Overall though I am happy with the trade off.Appying the bright ideas numbers was simple - peal and stick. I had no issues with the quality or thinkness of the material and they seem to adhere well.I would like these more if they were available in a smaller size - I have to admit part of what makes these decently visible is that they look absolutely GIANT on my mailbox. I knew that before I ordered but still bugs me a bit.

Overall, very pleased!! The numbers are visible/large and they are reflective, just what I wanted. The 2nd pic is how the numbers look with my vehicle's headlights only, no camera flash.Based on what I saw in other reviews:NOTE: the numbers are stickers; they are not the thick block numbers you hang on the house. Also, a few people said it was hard to put the stickers on. Honestly, I didn't have an issue because "I took my time". I used a marker to see where I would place them on the mailbox. Then I only removed a small area of the backing on the sticker. Once I was sure where to place the number, I removed the rest of the backing very slowly. Do not let your fingers touch the entire back of the sticker because the adhesive is pretty durable.My parents even got a set once they saw mine.I think hanging the new mailbox was worse ! :-}

I used this product on our wooden mailbox post. The post was stained ...no bare wood. With the assistance of my 9 yr old grandson we had the 2 sets of numbers attached to 2 sides of the post in no time. They are highly visible day & night. Just a tip... If I were to reattach them I would allow more space between the numbers. When approaching our driveway at night the reflective material is very visible from a distance but it’s hard to read the actual numbers until you get closer. This is by no means a negative reaction to the product....my mistake in placing them. Attached them in July...it’s mid January now. So far they still look as good as the day I put them on the post.

I mistakenly bought two sets of numbers (a mistake because I feel they are poor quality).Very thin plastic, easily torn when putting into place.Adhesive stuck to me but not the surface, interrestingly the part that stuck to me is the only part that stuck to the surface I put them on, usually that's just the opposite of what happens as the sticky part collects body oils and moisture.

They were very easy to install, the letters are very bright at night and I can see them like a block away. I’m happy with the purchase, they look very professional on our new mailbox, they’ve been holding out and sticking hard. We’ve had some really nasty storms lately and they look like they were just put on.
