Great for projector NO LAG!!!
So was not really sure what to expect for a wireless HDMI transmitter since it look just like only a wire. So I figured I would try it out. Most TVs come with a USB port on it is it was easy to plug in and use one end in the USB and the other into the HDMI port. So far so good. next I tried it on a laptop and it was easy. Just plug in the USB and the other to the HDMI and my screen was up on the TV on the wall. Very fast plug and play. But as a computer tech I wanted to be sure to check for lag. So I ran a video on it from the internet and matched it with the sound on my speakers and it is was SPOT ON!! perfect. Very pleased with the results of ZERO LAG and that was after I moved to be over 13 feet away. But there was only one issue I found. One both pieces the cable were extremely hot to the touch when I was done. I only ran it for 10 minutes at a time and they were very hot. Since i use things for hours at a time for long meetings, I will check to see if there are any issues over time. But for now I have a little concern for the extreme heat coming from both the sending and the receiving side.Great product for distance and no lag. Did I say no lag. This is very important since most products i have tried have over half a second lag which is not good for video work. I did try this on six different devices and it worked well on all of them.

Cast videos, sound and pictures to your TV!
What we have here is an ingenious device to allow you to cast videos, sound and music or pictures from your device to your TV. It's operation is totally behind the scenes, and it is totally plug and play. The device can be almost anything - your computer, smartphone, MP3 player, and more. I'm sitting here on my sofa casting my desktop onto my 80 inch TV, and the picture is amazing! The picture quality is as good as I get streaming, which is excellent. The images are crisp, clear and vibrant. The sound is just as good! One cable connects to your computer's HDMI port with the other end connected to any USB-A port for power. That's the transmitter. The other cable, the receiver, connects to the HDMI port on your TV or any other smart device. You need do nothing else! The other end connects to any USB-A port on the TV - or anything including a USB power adapter. Do that and you're casting - automatically.I didn't have to download drivers. I'm not using any app - at all. I didn't have to download an app to enable casting, I'm not using WiFi. I'm not even using bluetooth! Mirroring my computer display on the TV is easy as falling off a log! This was a GREAT buy for me, no question!

Junk, device failed after a couple months, ZERO response or support.
The QR code for support is just a manual. Emailing the mfg gets no response. Waste of money. The connection drops after a minute or so, then flickers on and off every few seconds until its unplugged. Every time it comes back on it shows the firmware version, so it looks to be overheating and constantly rebooting. This is apparent because both HDMI connectors are very warm.

It actually works lol
I honestly was skeptical of this working though I've used other devices that do screen mirroring and such. It's such a small device you'd think it would have a few quirks but nope. It does exactly what it says and the range is pretty decent as well. I've been using this with a screen that doesn't support screen mirroring to do presentations while walking around a bit while holding a laptop. It's pretty nifty tbh though I wish the resolution was a little higher 1080p is just fine for presentations and such. Sound syncs well though I'd honestly not watch movies with it. For the price it can fix a few issues of having long HDMI cables if you are doing presenting.

Only use them for temporary setups.
I like the fact that these can do the job in a compact manor. Since they are compact, they are more portable. This is a big plus. I tested these by plugging the receiver into a TV and plugging its usb end into the USB port on the TV. Many TVs have USB ports and this was enough to power it just fine. I then plugged the other end into a laptop (same for power) and it worked almost instantly. There was no real noticeable latency, but it was great in the small room with the wall mounted TV. I then left o run a quick errand and returned about 20 minutes later. The end connected to the laptop was fairly hot. I checked the receiver end and found it to be pretty warm too. I disconnected them at this point. So while I think it's a great travel accessory, I don't think is should be used for extended periods or left plugged in as a permanent solution.

Very little drop out
It does what it says and is one of the cheapest on amazon.Very simple set up and decent range. It did drop connection a couple of times but i noticed it was more stable with some of my devices over others, I haven't tested enough to say if there is a particular setting that works better such as refresh rate or anything but on the whole it's a decent device for my intention of using it in hotels.
