I bought two of these for our master bedroom. I was a bit leary at first because I knew they were made from manufactured wood, MDF, and I am partial to real word but that comes at a significant cost. Most cost efficient furniture nowadays is made from MDF. They really do look great and my wife loves them. I was attracted to them because they are taller than most night stands and I wanted something that would reach above the height of our bed. I am very pleased with the finished product. They do take some time to assemble. I am quite handy and have built furniture many times in the past from scratch. The first one took about 3 hours to assemble, following the directions carefully. The second took about 2 hours to assemble since I had already been throught the assembly process once. The directions are very well written and easy to follow so even a novice should be able to follow these without trouble. MDF can be unforgiving when building with. When putting in screws or screwing in other hardware, put them in so they are snug but DO NOT over tighten them. My advice is take it slow and easy when putting it together and you'll have a piece of furniture that you'll love and that will last for decades. I am very please with the overall result. I would recommend these.

A nice sturdy end table. Looks expensive. However, I've put together many products from amazon. These were some of the most confusing directions I've ever dealt with! But, end product was great.

This is the best kit I have ever put together. Whomever laid out the drawing and the machinist who drilled the holes did a fine job. Centerline to centerline everything fit on target. Instructions are easy to understand if one takes the time to fully comprehend what is going on. The only detriment is the choice of drawer pulls. The black does not seem to go well with the white and the brown. I am awaiting a shipment of new handles in antique brass. Also, this is no flimsy cabinet. no, it is hefty and well made. Shipping container was excellent. Getting it open was almost the toughest part of the job.
