Best value, great looking desing
Ratio has solid designs across collections. This one has a easy to read face, light weight on the wrist, sapphire case. Looks like a $300 - $500 watch, but it's only $50. The strap might not work for every taste, but you can replace it easily.

Nice watch!
The face is easy to read in the daylight - very light green with good contrast.

Don't buy!!! ZERO stars if possible!
Have had two ratio field watches. The first watch's face chipped inside the crystal. The replacement watch got moisture under the crystal within a week from a swimming pool. The watch looks great but the quality isn't there. Gonna stick with Casio, their watches that cost half as much have never let down.

Solid Watch
I received this watch for my birthday. It is a very nice, easy to read and wearable watch. The lumen on the hands is bright and holds the “glow” for quite a while. A great watch to add to a collection or as a “one and only”.

Beautiful watch. Needs an improved date display
This watch is excellent in design, materials and function. My complaint is that the date window needs to be bigger and more useful for me.

Date rotor not working
I absolutely love the watch, the size is perfect, the waterproofing is perfect. Very easy to read. However since day one of receiving the watch the date spot has to be manually moved in order to have the accurate date number. Im very disappointed with the watch for this reason and have given a 3star review

Ratio Easy Reader Field Watch
With these specs this watch represents good value, the face isn't fully lumed & the crown is pull out contrary to what you might think. Nevertheless it has all you would want in basic field time piece, there is lume on the hands albeit nominal rather than the generous lume you will get on some divers watches. The case looks a bit thicker than photographs would indicate, VX42 is a Seiko/Epson using a standard 371 or SR920SW battery that should give about 36 months per install. It is quite likely that the cheap VX42 mechanism gives a lot better performance than the original chronometer that Meriwether Lewis purchased in Philadelphia in 1803 that cost at that time a whopping $250, though it would have been a beautiful 'Arnold's Watch' protected in a specially made case.
